Where my demons hide {MANDATORY MEETING}

Small pools of water littered the floor of the cherry tree
forest from the resent shower. Soft pink petals drifted across
the miniature ponds. Sakura couldn't say how long she had been
standing there, at the southern edge of her territory, over the
body, but it had been a while. For the longest time, it just
wouldn't sink in. She couldn't believe it.
Skywing was dead.
But it finally did sink in, and when it did, she was furious.
More anger than she had ever known before raged inside of her.
Reaching down, she grabbed the golden tom's scruff and began the
long walk back to camp. She hated every single second of it. She
hated that she even had to do it. He should be alive and talking
with her! Not killed by another clan! Not any clan.
Evergladeclan. The fur caught in Skywing's claws proved that
much. They were going to pay. Once at camp, she laid her long
time friend's body beneath the Tall Stone and leapt to the top
of it. "All cats old enough to climb the cherry tree gather
beneath the Tall Stone for a clan meeting!!" She called, just
barely able to keep the seething anger out of her voice.

but he was still old enough to go to the meeting, so his brown
and white paws carried him over until he saw the body of a
golden tomcat, and he was lying down and-

he was dead.

Spotted path padded out from her den. Oh good. The rain had
stopped. She sat beneath the Tall Stone, spotting the body. Oh
not good. Oh crap more like. What had happened?

Gunshot hadn't climbed a tree since he lost his eye, but the tom
was certain he still could. Besides, whether or not he could
didn't matter. He belonged at any tribe meeting. Stumbling over
to the Tall Rock, the red feline settled down next to Rapidkit.
And saw the body. Skywing, dead. He couldn't believe it; the
deputy had always seemed immortal. Most cats did, it was strange
ti think they could die any day.

Skywing? No! Night bit her lip and curled her tail around her
paws, gulping. Sakura and Skywing were really close, everyone
knew that. It seemed like they were lovers or littermates. The
medicine cat sat close to Sakura, but still a good distance
away.

"For a while now, I have heard the clans talk." She began. "They
say we are weak. That we are no threat. For a while I didn't
think much of it. What does it matter what they think? We know
what we are and that is all that matters. She smoothed her voice
out, almost seeming calm. The calm before the storm. "But now!
Now they have attacked our warrior! Our senior warrior. And
killed him on own territory! This will not stand! We will not
let it stand!!" Now her voice echoed with the rage she had
carefully hidden from her clan. Hopefully her emotions would
pass to her warriors.

well, yes, the young mca knew that he was weak, but his tribe
wasn't! were they going to go to war? of course, he would go
with only the purpose of healing, but would need battle training
in case a cat attacked him. this was, of course, if they were
going to war.[/font][/center]
