KINDERGARTEN BOYFRIEND // joining? yeah

Two black forms slunk through the darkness, matching one
another's movements. They were nearly identical, from their
large paws to their white slice on their left eyes. Only
difference was that one was small, really small, and
unimaginably fluffy. The little one spoke first, "Dad-"
"Nope, not today, not tomorrow, not ever," the larger one
quipped, "I don't care if I was your father in that life, nor in
this life, or the next. You mean actually nothing to me," he
said it in a tone that was the embodiment of repetativeness, as
if he had to spew the spiel multiple times. The younger male
frowned, speaking again.
"Dad, what are we gonna tell these cats? 'Oh, we're reborn Clan
cats! Yeah, we're cool and sh.t!' Because if so, I don't think I
can," he muttered, struggling to keep up. After a heavy sigh,
the older one spoke again.
"I'll take care of it, kid. Just worry about your back end and
only that, okay?" despite denying fathering the spunky boy, he
found himself attatched to his little look alike. The two walked
right into the unmarked territory, awaiting someone to come and
encounter them.

It was probably not such a good thing that Hal was the one to
come across the two. Although he cared about the younger one, he
was always uneasy around Hissingfly, especially considering what
he knew about the situation with Stygianflare. His eyes narrowed
slightly as he saw the familiar lookalikes coming towards him,
and his eyes widened once more as he realized just who these two
were. Ignoring his better judgement, the kitten quickened his
pace to join them, purposefully directing his attention to the
fluffy child that was his age rather than the larger version of
him. He was hesitant, but nonetheless, he was confident he was
right. "G-G-Guar? Is th-that you?"" he asked, a nervous tone to
his voice. He was suddenly having a bit of regret, his
confidence leeching away, but he didn't let it show on his face,
not letting it show that he wasn't sure of himself.

Tigger was just strolling along the territory when he thought he
saw a small shadow. He went to investigate, his heavy footsteps
crunching the leaves and debris beneath him. Then, in the
distance he saw little Hal approaching two strangers. One was
small but the other was not very small and this scared the
bajeebies out of him. Immediately he made his way over and
walked up beside Hal, and maybe a little bit in front of him. He
didn't know what the little dude was thinking walking around by
himself and confronting large strangers, but he was here now and
he'd take care of it. Tigger seemed to not notice Hal's attempt
to interact and instead made his own.
"Hey there, strangers! What brings you to...this place?" Darn,
he forgot. They should probably come up with a cool name for
their group sometime.

As soon as Tigger came over, Hal seemed to droop, any and all
credibility taken away by the fact that he felt the need to
place himself between him and the two newcomers. He huffed,
giving a quick glare to Tigger while he wasn't looking, but shut
his mouth nonetheless. As much as he wanted to argue with the
adult, he couldn't right now, as if he was right and this was
Guar then he didn't want to give a bad 'first' impression.
