I'MA SAY ALL THE WORDS INSIDE MY HEAD (clan planning; y'allneeda

Tigger was never much of the quiet thinking type. However,
learning about these so-called clans had got him thinking, and
wondering, and imagining. It sounded ridiculous at first, but
the idea was growing on him so much that he couldn't fall asleep
or take the naps he so loved. His mind and body were wide awake,
and he was ready to do something about it. He was tired of
waiting for something to happen. He didn't care if he knew next
to nothing about clan traditions, he was going to start his own
if that meant bringing up the thriving community he once dreamed
about.
Tigger steadied himself and leap down the tree, landing on the
ground with a hefty thump. He searched for one of his new
companions in hopes to discuss his new ideas with them. Like I
said, he wasn't a quiet thinker. He needed to say it out loud
and make it happen.

Abysma, well, she was doing what she normally did. Wandering
around, not even considering the possibility of a Clan. As nice
as that might have been, she really didn't know if she thought
that was possible. At least, with this group. After all, they
didn't exactly seem to mesh too well at the first encounter.
Nonetheless, she'd be a part of it if it happened, for sure. As
she noticed Tigger, the dark-furred feline slipped out of the
shadows to step beside him and keep in time with him as he
walked. "Careful, I can see the smoke coming out of your ears."

"Who the-" Tigger whipped his head around to see Absyma
appearing beside him. He relaxed after his heart settled back in
his chest. "Geez, walk a little quieter, will ya?" he said.
"Anyway, about that, I was looking for you because I've just-
Well, I've been thinking about these 'clans' or whatever." He
sighed as if he was finally relieved to be getting this off his
chest. He continued to walk, half because she joined him and
half because he was a pacer. "I know it's weird how this all
happened but we gotta all be here for a reason, you know? And I
think we should take this chance instead of hanging around like
sitting ducks and get eaten by whatever lives around here," he
said, throwing out his thoughts. He stole a glance at her but
continued to speak. "So I think we should try it. The clan
thing. Don't laugh."

a gray tabby swiveled his ears to listen in on the conversation.
one could accuse indigo of being a stalker, but he didn’t see
himself as creepy like that. he simply liked to know what was
going on, what he was getting himself into. nevertheless, he
felt a twinge of guilt for spying on his companions, and decided
against every fiber of his asocial being that he should try to
join the conversation. ”a clan, huh?” the young tom mewed, a
curious gleam in his deep blue eyes. ”you really think that
could work?”

Abysma's head turned slightly to the side at the arrival of
Indigo, but still she answered Tigger first. "I mean, if you
think it'll turn out alright, fine, let's do this thing. I'm
just warning you in advance, from what I've heard from my
parents, even if they protected each other, Clans had so much
drama and so much danger. If you're up for dealing with that,
then yeah, let's go for it." She turned her head to glance at
Indigo once more, giving a shrug of her shoulders. "It's
possible. Guess we'll be finding out, if we do this. There's a
lot we need to work out. You know, like ranks, camp, how we want
the names to work, rules of the group, borders? It's gonna be a
lot of work, but if you guys are up for it, then hey, let's do
it."
//i'm trying to think if it's plausible for one of the original
characters to show up at some point, but just really really old
but idk if it would've been too long ago
//also i kinda miss the original clans tbh

//i mean cats in the wild usually live for about 5 years and pet
cats can live for like 20 so if an original character got
captured by twolegs they could very well still be alive, but
would seem ancient to the wild cats
indigo was curious to see how such a dynamic would work out
between their ragtag group. he didn’t quite see the necessity of
formal organization though, so he had to twitch his whiskers in
amusement at abysma’s comment about hard work. rules were just
too...rigid. indigo was of the belief that cooperation and
communication were what allowed animals to live together. he was
curious though, to experience for himself just what clan life
was like. [b]”didn’t those old clans die out, though? we’d have
to come up with a better structure than what they were working
with, since it clearly didn’t work for them. who knows, perhaps
the best structure was no structure at all.”

( hm yeah maybe one of the rainclan kits could have lived?? i
don't know though i don't remember the amount of time we decided
that passed between all of the site reboots.
and the original clans will always have a special place in my
heart i miss it too)
Tigger wasn't sure if Abysma was trying to talk him out of it or
not. He wasn't going to over analyze it though. She had him at
'let's do this thing,' so there was no backing out now. Tigger
grinned at her response. "Oh yeah, I'm up for it. Life is no fun
without a little risk."
Tigger had slowed to a stop and faced the two of them by now. He
frowned somewhat in thought. "Ah, yeah. Rules are a pain, but I
expect we'll need a few or it'll be hell to deal with later.
Besides, they died from a natural disaster. A little structure
wouldn't kill us." he said, mostly directed towards Indigo. "You
do have a point though. Maybe they had too many restrictions.
Maybe that's what caused the drama in the first place. I can't
say for sure, though, Absyma's the one with all of the bedtime
stories." He turned to her. "What do you think?

Great, that was settled. As soon as it was settled, however,
there was disagreement. She responded immediately, indignant at
what was being said. "Listen, he's right. They died in a big
storm, not because their system failed. Besides, no structure is
exactly what we have, and it's not different than being
completely on your own, you know? It's not helping us at all. We
should at least come up with the basics first, and then we can
decide on what we want to do regarding the rules and
restrictions. Alright?"

"Ooh, what's this about?" Scratch chirped as she joined the
small group, plopping down beside Tigger and, essentially, using
him to warm her up a bit. She was fluffy, yes, but even the
fluffiest of cats can get cold. Drool approached as well,
sitting off to the side beside Indigo. Scratch caught the word
'Clan', as well as the complications that they discussed with
it.
"Structure sounds ideal, but, like, what are the basics on it?"
she paused, pulling her lips into thin line. She opened her
mouth to speak, only for Drool to interrupt her.
"We need to appoint a... a leader. Someone to guide us on
everything. A-at least, that's what I think," He realized how
outspoken he was, ears flat on his head as he tucked his head
down.

"A leader would be great. Any suggestions from anyone?" Abysma
asked, looking around at the small group gathered there. She
assumed that someone would offer up at least a handful of names,
and wouldn't be upset if someone suggested her, honestly. After
all, she was pretty knowledgeable in the Clan department.
However, she wouldn't suggest it herself. In her opinion, maybe
Tigger would be a good choice.
