Abysma wouldn't have been here if she hadn't had nothing to do
anyways. As it was, she had made the decision that since she was
not too busy anyways, she would follow... whatever that dream
had been to this place. It's not like it would hurt to see if
the place actually existed, and she had actually found the place
she had been in her dream. She looked around, noticing how the
clearing was empty, and took a seat, looking up at the sky and
rolling her eyes at herself. Why did she even bother showing up?

Two figures appeared next, relatively same in size but not in
stature. One stood strong, took long, confident strides while
the other took short quick ones just to keep up. However they
walked, they stuck close to one another, and stalled when the
female spoke up.
"This is the place! This is the one I saw!!" her voice was
cheery with a hint of a satisfied growl, head craning towards
the boy beside her.
"You said that about the last three places, Scratch." his voice
was the polar opposite as hers, though he glanced around, baby
blue eyes skimming the area before trusting it. Well, until he
spotted Abysma's figure and shuffled backwards. "H-hey, there's
someone over there..." he murmured, nudging her closer.
"You're such a baby, Drool. Hey, Miss!" she immediately called
to the other, shining an incredibly toothy grin as she trotted
forward. "What brings ya' to this part of the
woods?"

The scent was familiar here. He remembered how vivid his dream
was when he had it, and now it was like living it over again.
Every picture, smell, sound, and even taste was so familiar.
Wick glared at the trees around him. This was too strange.
Suddenly he heard voices. The fluffy orange tom paused and
perked his ears to the noise. Narrowing his green gaze, he
slowly crawled forward and peered through the shrubs. Three cats
were gathered there, seemingly strangers. He continued to lay
low and watch.
----
Tigger (not the pooh bear one) knew he had no where to go, but
this was ridiculous. He'd been traveling for two days with no
real, tangible explanation or reason; he only had three strange
dreams to follow. Ridiculous as it was, the former kittypet was
determined to find it. The first time he was..not in his right
mind, the second time was kind of unusual, but a third time?
There had to be some meaning behind it.
Oh, what was wrong with him? He'd gone mad, for sure. When did
he start believing in psychic dreams and visions anyway? Was he
suddenly going to set up shop in this unfamiliar forest and sell
readings and smelly herb potions? No, he was done. Time to turn
around. That's when he lost his balance in the last step forward
he decided to take.
The heavy brown tabby stumbled into the clearing with three
other cats. He paused in this strange position, staring at the
small few with confusion for a while before standing up
straight. "Huh," he murmured. He stood there for a while longer,
thinking. "Hey, ladies, uh, just curious. Is anyone here because
of a weird dream, or is this just a popular empty clearing in
the woods?" he asked. He wasn't one to dance around the subject.
He just wanted to make sure he really was hallucinating and then
continue on with his sad life.

The stocky male was already having issues back at home. His
mother was a large she-cat, but with a small mind. She was old,
muzzle already greying with age, and her memory already fading.
But, she was still determined to settle down and find a
life-long mate. It took her a while to find a cat that was
willing to love her for who she was, not how she looked, but he
was always faking, so he thought, and after the miscarriage of
their kittens, he had left. And so did she. Not physically, of
course; she never moved from her nest in the stale-smelling,
cobweb filled shed outside of the city. She left mentally.
Always staring off at nothing, keeping silent for most of the
time, only talking to him to tell him how much she missed his
father, who had left in his own childhood. She had died this
last moon cycle, ill with depression and starvation, for she had
always left any prey for him.
He had wanted to leave shortly after her death, but who would
take him? He wouldn't go to the city; it stinked of vehicles and
the hindlegs - those oddly pale, hairless creatures that walked
on their hide legs - all of which he disliked. He couldn't stay
in that shed any longer, either. It wasn't until the mysterious
dream of a forest rich with prey, and a moonlit clearing full of
gathering cats that he decided he knew where to go.
He knew of only one forest near the city, which was a few days'
walk away. He knew mother's second mate came from there, and
often told them stories about it. He knew where to go; through
the city from the shed, take a left near the center, and head
straight until he was there. So, he began his journey, despite
hating the dogs and people and vehicles.
It had taken the siamese tabby less than a day to make it
through the city, and two days to make it to the forest that he
had been shown in his dream. The forest was definitely quieter
than the city, with only the sound of some birds and chattering
chipmunks. It was beautiful, to say the least. But, where was
the clearing? He remembered the focal part of the dream as
clearly as if he lived there; a beautiful clearing, littered
with flowers, surrounded by trees as the light filtered through
the leaves. He remembered it. He remembered the cats.
His head shot up. The cats! There were cats there, five or six,
he couldn't remember exactly how many, but cats nonetheless. His
search had just gotten so much easier, and he couldn't help but
purr when he finally caught a hold of a scent. Two cats had
passed through this way. The stench of kittypet began to mingle
with his own scent as he followed the trail. He could hear the
soft voices now, and picked up his pace. More scents began to
merge with the kittypet scent he had been following; two more
males, and one female. Five cats. His breath caught as he broke
through the heavy undergrowth, and into the clearing. It wasn't
as beautiful and breathtaking as it was in his dream, but it was
a clearing nonetheless, and here were the five cats, confused
and wary, just as much as himself. He was finally here.

It was futile, there was no possible way they could
possibly removed it from their neck. The green colored collar
ringed the tortoiseshell's neck, bringing out the similar green
color in their eyes, a silver plate dangled from it with the
first initial of the cat's name, 'W'. Not that they could
understand the written language that the humans used. The former
kittypet groaned, how were they possibly going to fit in with
the tough strays if they had this stupid collar on? Maybe they
could've scratched it off if they had claws of a proper and
preferred length, though they weren't able to escape before the
new owners clipped them down. Though there could be another
reason as to why they couldn't remove it from their person, but
of course they would never admit to it. They had a large amount
of pride within their petite and slender figure, but they still
had grave amount of insecurities, including that of their
unusually short legs.
Releasing a large sigh they decided to move on, they'd been
trying to remove the thing for the past few hours, or was it
days at this point? They weren't sure, they thought it hard to
get a proper concept of the time. Multi-colored pads pressed up
against the plush grass as they continued walking, where even
were they? They've escaped from the house before, but never past
the fence, so everything was so foreign to the pampered kitty.
But to be honest, even though they were lost, they've had more
fun out here in the short amount of time that they've been
outside, then the last few months being cooped up inside with
the new servants. A thought, a past memory, came to the former
kittypet's brain, it was that dream, that vision that they had
while they still lived at the house. Where was that clearing,
did it even exist around here? This forest was seemingly
endless, it didn't seem like they would even make it there.
A line of bushes in between some trees blocked the nonexistent
path they'd been walking, they didn't really want to walk
through the bushes, it would ruin their fur. But if this is what
it meant to be an outside cat, then they would have to do it and
get used to. They pushed their tiny body through, closing their
green eyes most of way as to protect them from the sharp twigs
and branches that made of the entirety of the bush. Finally they
pushed themselves through, without that much damage to
themselves besides a few scratches, which made them rather proud
of themselves. Then they saw it, the clearing that they'd seen
in their vision, along with quite a few cats. The little cat
wasn't very noticeable among the bushes, but the noise could've
given them away. They weren't to fond of other cats, but these
were the same cats that were in their dreams. So they probably
weren't that bad, plus they were hungry so maybe these strangers
could get them some food. Or maybe even remove this stupid
collar. Though with their amount of pride it was unlikely the
would ask the unfamiliar cats unless desperate.

Of course, the questions were directed at her. Seeing the many
others who had come to join her, she was rather surprised, but
not too much to the point that she didn't expect it. After all,
this is kind of what the dream had showed her, right? And she
had been superstitious enough to listen to it this far. She
warily watched the others, taking a few steps back to give
herself some personal space before she spoke.
"My own stupidity," she responded immediately, gaze soon moving
to the blunt brown tabby who had asked a more specific question.
A small smirk pulled up the corner of her mouth and she soon
responded, "Oh, you saw it too? You must be just as crazy as I
am." Her tone was clearly sarcastic, but she truly was slightly
relieved that she wasn't actually going crazy. Her gaze wandered
to the others who were arriving as well.
"I think we should give our names then. I don't think a group of
us who had a mass hallucination should go unintroduced, right?"
It seemed the sass she gave off just couldn't be shut off. Sure,
it was kind of as a defense mechanism, but it was working to
make her less uneasy, which meant it accomplished the goal it
was meant for. "Guess I'll go first. Name's Abysma, I've lived
in the woods just about my whole life. No siblings or other
family, so it's just me out here."

Scratch wasn't surprised by the other cats that neared. Plenty
of them didn't say much, but if she squinted in the right way,
they gave her a sense of famililarity. Comfort. A hefty purr
rumbled out of the black she-cat as she hopped away from her
brother to differentiate herself from him. Which, in all
honesty, wasn't too hard considering that they were opposite
colors. She was black, white dipped paws and heart shape on her
chest. He was black, technically, but it seemed that when he was
dipped in the white, whoever dunked him nearly dropped him. He
had black ears, 'mask', and various masses on his back. The
siblings shared the same eye color, however, a vibrant gold.
"You guys had the dream too!?" she was seemingly unphased by the
sneaky loner and kitty-pet, as well as the boy smelling of the
city. Her interest completely lay with those who spoke. "I'm
Scratch, and this is my brother, Drool. We're born and raised
loners." she hummed, though her hum was awkward, as her
overgrown fangs didn't allow her lips to align perfectly.
Drool, on the other hand, had an entirely misaligned jaw - Why
do you think he was named Drool? The boy only spoke to his
sister, and his parents when they still cared for him and
Scratch. Even as his sister bounced away, he followed, tucking
himself into her thicker pelt and eyeing the multiple cats
before them. He only dipped his head slightly when she
introduced him, allowing himself to be in the background in her
prideful charade. He didn't mind, he enjoyed being quiet. He
didn't like speaking to others, if at all.

Tigger couldn't believe that he called every single cat having
the same dream he did, and even more so, that it was possible
for them to dream the same thing in the first place. The shock
would settle in eventually, but for now he pushed it away. He
greatly appreciated many of them being civilized; it had been
awhile since he saw a friendly face.
"My name's Tigger," he said, a lopsided grin forming. "Pleasure
to meet you all. I can't say I've always been alone, but uh..I
am now." His smile faded slightly but he continued, "It's nice
to know I'm not the only mad one around here, eh?" The brawny
brown tabby glanced around the clearing of quickly gathering
cats with his bright green eyes. His paws were strangely large
for a cat and his tail had a kink in it, but other than that, he
looked like a perfectly healthy and well-fed cat. Maybe that was
because of his heritage as a kittypet, but he liked to think it
was because no prey could outrun him.
----
Wick's eyes widened when he heard the mention of the dream. This
was much too weird to be a coincidence, that was for sure.
Instead of showing himself and offering an introduction, the
orange tabby lowered himself to the ground and waited in watch
like the creep he was. He studied the strangers warily and
whipped his tail as if preparing for a fight.

She'd been watching the entire conversation so far,
making sure not to be noticed.
Sky was a solid brown american shorthair with round amber eyes.
She grew up on a farm with her mother and five siblings. She
didn't consider herself a kittypet per say, more like a free
spirit who had a place to call home when she visited.
Anyway unlike her siblings a few days ago she had a dream of a
clearing. She didn't understand how or why but she knew she had
to be at the clearing. So she'd spent the last few days
searching for it, following her instincts like she always had.
And now that she was here she'd been watching as more and more
cats converged on the clearing from her dream.
I'm not crazy, it is real.
Now that a few of the had shared their names Sky figured why not
show herself, slowly she walked out of her spot and sat within
view of the other cats.
"Hi, my name is Sky. It's nice to know other cats had the same
dream."
She attempted a friendly smile before laying on the cool
grass.
