patrol." Crow-wing would need to get through to the patrol
eventually. He didn't care who joined him for it, he knew
Sunnypaw was. He'd turn down Spiderscare in favor of her health
though. Without a proper healer, they couldn't do much but wait
for sickness to pass or use common knowledge of herbs to help.
The thought made his eyes narrow, and he questioned if he should
ask Silentstripe if they had a healer that could assist them.
He shook his head slightly, clearing his thoughts to gain a
sterner expression and to continue his wait. His tail twitched
with his impatience.[/font]

Sunnypaw sat near her mentor, waiting for the rest of the
hunting patrol. She wasn't sure who else would join but she
hoped that they wouldn't slow her down. Sunnypaw was working her
way up to warrior and even though she was willing to wait,
Sunnypaw didn't want to prolong it any more than it should.

Freepaw heard the call and, after very short moment of thought,
strolled over. He did wonder if he should stay in case he was
needed, but he would much rather go out and hunt for the Clan
than sit around, most likely to end up doing nothing. Problem
was, he was still pretty new to hunting. He prayed he wasn't
about to embarrass himself and decided to just hope for the
best. "I'll join you," the chipper tom said, a smile on his face
and his tail sitting upward like a flag.

something to her when Freepaw appeared. He faced the young
apprentice's, his ears twitching slightly. He didn't know
Freepaw's skill level when it came to hunting, but Crow-wing
guessed that this could also become a learning experience.
"That's fine with me. You could show me what you know while we
hunt. Sunnypaw could show you how to hunthe as well. "[/font]

Sunnypaw's right ear twitched, she didn't like the idea of
teaching hunting to a newb. In the apprentice den she never
heard anything about this particular cat's skills. So she
assumed he was either to modest to boast or was really bad at
hunting. Either way Sunnypaw didn't like the idea. She wished
her sister would show up and help Sunnypaw out, but then again
her sister didn't have the best track record when it came to
hunting either. Poor thing was practically blind.

"Really? Thanks!" Freepaw said gratefully and took a seat, now
feeling much more assured. Even if he did make a fool of
himself, at least the warrior would be understanding and even
offer to help. He sat up proudly and, noticing another pair of
eyes on him, offered a smile towards the silent apprentice.

Firedash stubbornly approached the others, head low and eyes
narrowed. "I'll be going." the elder stated, obviously not
taking no for an answer. "If your mother tells me one more story
about you and your siblings, Crowwing, she'll be living in the
mist." he threatened faintly, coming up beside his son. He
rested his scarred tail on the smaller tom's back, ears back and
waiting for them to leave.

Sunnypaw silently nodded her head she could understand how
annoying Crow-wing's mom got. She also scooted slightly closer
to Crow-wing, since she didn't do well with elders. A lot of
them thought she was rude or too quiet, truth was she was really
blunt. It wasn't on purpose it just happened. Sunnypaw glanced
at Freepaw's back noticing the elders tail, were they related?
Sunnypaw was never good with remembering family ties other than
her sister and Crow-wings mother.

[font=courier]Crow-wing was a bit confused by Firedash wanting
to join, but instantly got why when he explained. Crow-wing
didn't like his mother Mistyflower as much as the next cat,
mostly because all she did was worry over him. His sisters had
for the most part stopped pestering him about his asthma, but
the elder had yet to give up. The stories were a whole other
deal though. Even if his mother wasn't annoying, he wouldn't
argue with Firedash. Even if he hadn't been trained by the
elder, he knew how tough of a mentor, and warrior in general, he
could be. He respected the elder. "Alright Firedash. We can head
out now then."[/font]

"Wait, I wanna come with!" Dragonpaw called out, running over as
fast as she could despite being shorter than the average feline.
She managed to stop before crashing into anyone this time,
fortunately for her and anyone else involved.
