He snarled at Flicker. This rogue was annoying, did she know
nothing about Clan life? "We have borders for a reason, unless
you didn't notice. Do you think we leave borders just for the
fun of it, confront trespassers just to hear the sound of our
own voice?" He snorted, standing up straighter. "That is truly
the dumbest question I've ever heard. We don't make exceptions
to random loners just because they have siblings." He smirked
slightly, enjoying the slight moment of power. His triumphant
moment quickly faded as Maplefur finally spoke. "Suggestion that
we cross borders now? No, they can meet right here then Flora
can come back and the rogue can leave."

"Alright I can go get her now if it'll end this." Maplefur
offered, she was having a nice day until this rogue came along.
If getting the queen will end all of this unpleasantness then
she'd carry her if necessary.

"Go get who? What's going on?" Lightningstar demanded, walking
into the scene. The leader looked around and observed the few
cats gathered, hoping to take in some information herself. She'd
heard Silverstripe's voice and then what Maplefur had said right
before she showed herself, so not too much to go off of. She
could tell, however, that the silver warrior had taken the lead
in the confrontation. And, of course, she had noticed the
stranger, whom she let her steely yellow eyes rest on. "And who
are you?"

Lightningstar frowned, her gaze flattening to sharp golden
slits. She side glanced her clanmates before focusing on the
loner once again. "Alright..." she said as she eyed the she-cat
suspiciously. "So, what do you want? You want her back? Whoever
your sister is, she came to this clan for a reason. This is her
home now." The leader didn't even know who she was defending,
but the black and white she-cat was naturally protective of her
clan. That included every member, whom she trusted very much.

was threatening to boil over if she didn't see her

Silentstripe's lips curled back, revealing his teeth. "Well if
you're going to show that much hostility than you may as well
turn tail and run right back to where you came from, honey. We
don't accept rogues that could turn on us whenever they want."
He spat the the word rogue, and he tried to keep his bristling
fur flat but his anger definitely showed.

Maplefur didn't want a fight to break out but she knew saying
anything now would be bad. Getting angry was not the way for
Flicker to get what she wanted, if the conversation continued
liked this then there was no way Flicker would see Flora.
Maplefur tensed her body, ready to attack if ordered to by
Lightningstar.
