"Yep," Snakepaw said briefly as put himself to work, though
lucky for him, Stagpaw had already gotten to clearing most of
the debris. The older apprentice ended up throwing a few
branches out and kicking some stones out of the way, quietly
assisting until they finished. He was slowly starting to walk
over to the apprentices gathering around the deputy when she
suddenly threw up mid-speech. His green eyes widened with
concern and surprise. "Uh, Spider-" he started, but stopped
himself when she turned around and pushed on. Of course she
would do that. He clamped his mouth shut and started to move
towards Dragonpaw, however, his gaze continued to linger on the
sick deputy.
( lol i thought storm posted before me oops )
Freepaw glanced around the area curiously while he waited for
the training to start, his tail flicking impatiently. He noticed
Stagpaw and gave a cheeky smile, then turned his head when he
was distracted by Spiderscare beginning to speak up. Anxious to
start the training, the red tabby gladly turned to the young
deputy and eagerly listened to what she had to say, until,
suddenly, she puked into the bush behind her. He was confused
and slightly concerned for several moments, but when she
continued to speak he let the moment fall to the back of his
mind. Maybe she felt better now? He hesitantly walked over to
Stagpaw.

Dragonpaw walked over to Snakepaw, a determined look on the
face. Maybe she was short, and younger than the other
apprentice, but she wasn't going to let him show her up, not in
the slightest! She stopped in front of him, ready to spar
whenever Spiderscare allowed them to start.
Sunnypaw, huh? Baldpaw cautiously began making his way towards
the other apprentice, a bit hesitant about sparring with her. He
wasn't very good, and he knew it, too, so he was anxious about
it.
Morningstar frowned when he saw her throw up, wanting to help
her but not knowing how he could. "Spiderscare, would you like
me to run back to camp and get you something? Water, or herbs?
If you're sick, you should really be resting, anyways." He was
concerned for her; but then again, when wasn't he concerned for
her?

Spiderscare was slightly annoyed with Crowwing, with how he
acted towards herbs, all of a sudden. She wanted to bite back at
him, and tell him to take his own advice, but she had already
done that. Morningstar already reinforced their worry for her,
and she shook her head. "I'll get something when we head back. I
need to be here to see their progress." still, she moved herself
to lay down in her makeshift nest, eyes trained on the
apprentices as they paired up. "Remember, I'm looking for basic
knowledge in fighting, so all you have to do is pin your
opponent." she told the apprentices, and Crowwing. "Begin."
Stagpaw flicked his ears back. He hadn't seen the deputy sick
before - nor anyone, for that matter. But, she seemed to brush
it off, and even be slightly annoyed for the toms who fretted
about her. "Ah, okay." he turned to his cousin, head low to the
ground as he tried to figure out the other's weak points.
"Whenever you're ready, Freebutt." he tossed the playful insult
with a grin, hoping to block out the worry for his deputy.
Waterpaw hesitated, also, watching as the blur of Sunnypaw was
paired up. She got her sister's mentor, which would surely prove
something if she could pin him. But that was if she could even
see him, half the time. "Perhaps I can spend the first five
minutes of this training, getting water for Spiderscare?" the
apprentice tried to barter with the males, ignoring the agitated
huff from the she-cat in question.

Crow-wing's ear flicked slightly when Spiderscare
insisted on staying put to oversee the training. If he had to,
he would drag her all the way back to camp. But he couldn't. He
glanced down at Waterpaw when she spoke up. "I would normally
say yes, but Spiderscare doesn't seem to want our
assistance."

Sunnypaw watched as the other apprentice walked towards her. Her
sister was walking, well wobbling, towards Sunnypaw's mentor. If
he doesn't go easy on her Waterpaw won't stand a chance.
Sunnypaw would have trouble fighting him and she knew Crow-wing
better than most cats.
Sunnypaw crouched into a fighting position once her partner came
over to her. After she heard the deputy tell them to begin
Sunnypaw prepared to fight. She had to remember only to pin him
down, Crow-wing taught her to hunt and fight for the clan. Also
even as a kit Sunnypaw never understood the concept of 'play'
fighting, Sunnypaw fought to win.

Baldpaw got into a fighting stance, ready for Sunnypaw to come
at him. Despite the bits of practice he had done, he was not
ready for a fight and both he and his mentor knew it.
Regardless, he didn't really have a choice in this matter, so he
awaited her attack.
Dragonpaw didn't hesitate. As soon as Spiderscare gave the
go-ahead, she launched herself at the older and larger
apprentice, immediately attempting to knock his paws out from
under him. She knew she couldn't overcome him with strength or
talent, so she had to rely on the element of surprise and her
speed instead.

Sunnypaw ended up making the first move, she used the power of
her back legs to launch at Baldpaw. Sunnypaw only felt slightly
nervous about having her mentor, the deputy, and leader of her
clan monitoring how well she fought. Sunnypaw never liked having
attention focused on her, which was one of the reasons she loved
hiding on high tree branches in the fog.

( i love sunnypaw )
Snakepaw had to admit, he wasn't feeling so good himself. He
tried to concentrate on the eager apprentice in front of him,
readying herself for the challenge, but his gaze continued to
drift away to the deputy. What was she still doing here? She
need to go back to camp and rest; be lazy for once in your life.
He grumbled to himself and flicked his gaze back to Dragonpaw
suddenly diving for his skinny legs. There was no time to react
or move and the smaller she-cat would barrel right into him. He
backed up, stupidly, in a much too late attempt to avoid her and
somehow ended up falling on his back, his head smacking against
the ground painfully. He already felt dizzy, but his first
reaction when he was thrown off balance was to roll onto his
feet as quick as he could to protect his core. Hopefully he got
up in time before she could attempt to pin him. That would be
embarrassing.
Freepaw grinned back and crouched down slightly, his tail
lashing. He watched him with golden eyes narrowed and seemed to
be analyzing him, which he was, but was mostly just thinking
about what would be the coolest move to try first. He didn't
really know that many; he'd only been training for less than a
moon. But that didn't matter to him that much because fighting
couldn't really be that hard. He beat his mentor, like, once, so
he should be fine. He stayed completely still for a moment
before zooming forward, aiming for his flank or back leg with
front legs out stretched.

She automatically jumped back for a second when he hit his head,
worried if he was okay, but when he rolled over onto his paws
she took it as a sign that he was okay, and she could come at
him again. Dragonpaw lunged forward, aiming for his leg then
changing last second and attempting to hit into his flank and
take him by surprise. This wasn't a real fight, after all, and
was supposed to end with one simply pinning the other. Besides,
she didn't have much training in the first place.
Baldpaw let out a scared sound as he quickly hopped backwards,
though Sunnypaw still managed to hit him in the chest. He rolled
over, attempting to pull her with him and, if successful, would
then try to push her down and pin her.

Spiderscare watched though narrowed, and easily tired eyes.
Though, watching the sparring cats actually gave her some relief
from her nausea. Sunnypaw, Dragonpaw, and Freepaw all seemed to
be go-getters. They were all on the offensive, already, which
would be good for HazeClan, if they ever had to turn around and
send a battle squad to GoldClan. Whereas Snakepaw and Baldpaw
seemed to be on the defense, though both seemed out of practice
and focus. Surely they'd fix themselves soon. The only
apprentices left after the analysis, were Stagpaw and Waterpaw.
One, of which, was trying to get out of fighting, and the other
was taunting his opponent attacked. Both would need more
training, or at least more confidence and focus.
Waterpaw resisted the whine she wanted to emit. She was more
afraid of hurting herself, rather than hurting the larger cat.
She gave a slow nod. "Alright, Crowwing. I, uh, I hope you
forgive me for my atrocious fighting." Morningstar taught her
well, but he could never give her the right teachings, due to
not being mostly blind himself. She focused on the blur that was
her sister's mentor, lowering her body to the ground before
rushing forward, and hopefully around the tom. Once she was near
his side, she turned on her heels and aimed to land on his
shoulders. Though, she could have been completely off, and
easily have scrambled to get to the place where she wanted to
be. All four paws, planted on his back.
"Oh, c'mon Freepaw, we don't have all -" he tried to taunt his
cousin once more, only to be surprised by the sudden rush the
other tom achieved. He stood straight up, aiming to hop out of
the way. Instead, he stumbled, as the other's paw hooked around
his back foot instead of his flank, effectively tripping him.
The tabby pushed himself onto his legs again, turning to face
the orange tom and rushing face first; he had a hard skull, so
surely a headbutt wouldn't hurt too much.
