The Seer's Ultimate Guide To Homestuck
By: Spotteh Date: June 8, 2013, 10:56 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
This is your friendly neighborhood Seer speaking. And this is my
peek into the mysterious reasonings behind Hussie's choices. As
I've gotten more and more into Homestuck, I've conducted my own
research and reached my own conclusions, not necissarily on
purpose either. Now wish to share what I have found. This is NOT
OFFICIAL. Not all of it at least. Some is canon, some is the
collective decisions of the fandom, and some is my own personal
theories and ideas. I just hope that my babbling will help you
in discusions of creating fan trolls or whatever else you may
choose to use this information for. This is also a constant WIP
as I will be adding more information and tweaking other stuff.
You are free to ask questions, though I may not answer them
right away because they'll show up in a later post or I just
need to work it out. Unlike in any of my other explanations, I'm
not going to hold back, so if there's something you don't get,
ask. Enjoy this guide and try not to go crazy dealing with my
ideas.

Re: The Seer's Ultimate Guide To Homestuck
By: Spotteh Date: June 14, 2013, 12:51 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
Alright. Let's go ahead and start off with the most important
part of Homestuck, [glow=green,50,90000]SBURB.[/glow]
Now one thing about SBURB is that the color of the logo relates
to the most important player of each session. With the beta
session, Jade was the most important player because, as was
shown, without her entering the medium, John dies and the
session becomes truly unwin-able; a failed timeline where
everyone ultimately dies. With the beta trolls session, Gamzee
is the most important player. Because he goes guano and kills
half the trolls. Go sober Gamzee. you butthead who killed
Nepeta. Turd. Since the color of the alpha kids session logo is
red, that opens several possibilities to who it might be. It
could be either Dave or Karkat, as both of them are associated
with the color red. However it could turn out to be Dirk's
auto-responder who types in the same 'candy red' and Dave. It
could also be Jane, who is taken over by the Condesce and shown
in a red god tier outfit. My personal theory is that Caliborn is
the most important player in this session as he is the LORD OF
TIME, trying to destroy all of time and space, and the entire
point of this whole thing is to stop him. Plus, with the newest
update, he is narrorating the story [s]badly but still.[/s] But
that's just my opinion. I have no idea what goes on in Hussie's
mind and he's just unpredictable enough that I can't really
predict him. I realize as I write this I am soooo spoiling this
stuff. I should probably put a warning in the title... Maybe
later.
Another's aspect of the game is creating a new universe. The new
universe serves as a reward if you win the game. Since your
world is destroyed, you get to live in the new universe and
essentially shape it into whatever you want. The Forge must be
stoked as is usually found near the Hero of Space. The use of
the Forge isn't entirely clear but in stoking it, there is a
planet wide change necissary to move forward. The Frog Temple is
also located near the Hero of Space and is where things really
seem to start. In the Frog Temple there is the Lotus Time Capsle
and Im going to assume you've already figured out what it does.
If a session does not have a Space player, then the session is
null or void. This is one of my theories since both the Alpha
session and Caliborn's session lacked a Space player and their
session was supposedly unwinable.
In each session there is also the Scratch Construct found on the
Hero of Time's planet. It is one of the Time players duty to
initiate the Emergance Reset if needed. Not having a time player
may also contribute to the sucess of a session since the Alpha
session also lacked a Hero of Time.
Trivia
[li]==> is used for the kids session and ======> for the
trolls. Each dash represents a player, an equal sign
representing two. So the arrows account for all the players of
each session.
[/li][li]'Sburb' stands for suburb.
[/li][li]The trolls universe had 48 astrological signs, implying
that the session that created their universe had 48 players
[/li]
By: Spotteh Date: June 14, 2013, 1:44 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
Next is
[shadow=gold,left]Ska[/shadow][shadow=purple,right]ia[/shadow],
another important part of Homestuck. I'll get to Derse and
Prospit later. Skaia is a planet which serves as a battlefield
between the Black King of Derse and the White King of Prospit.
The battle field is located at the center of Skaia and, after
each prototyping of the sprites, gets bigger. It is represented
as a chess board and begins as a three by three chess board with
the two kings locked in a stalemate. With each prototyping it
becomes bigger. After the first prototyping it becomes a full
chess board, twelve squares by twelve squares and the battle
really begins. Of course the battle is one that Prospit is
destined to lose but I'll get to that in a bit. With the second
prototyping, the board becomes a huge 48x48 field with landmarks
and trees. By the third prototyping, the battlefield is fully
sphered. The fourth prototyping gives the board a large outer
shield of checkered tendrils, completing it. Skaia must be
completed in order to create the new universe. It is implied
that the trolls session works differently with the prototyping,
as they have 12 sprites but only prototype it once. The
prototyping of the sprites allows Skaia to transform and heal,
making it able to handle the aforementioned new universe. In
failed sessions, a 'treasure' is created by the final
prototyping. This treasure is often known as the Tumor, and is a
powerful bomb able of destroying the entire incipisphere. Of
course it's only later that the beta kids find this out. Usually
when the Black King wins, he takes the White King's scepter to
send meteors in The Veil toward Skaia to destroy it, initiating
The Reckoning. In the beta session however, Jack Noir takes the
scepter and does it himself. But you already knew that. Skaia
creates portals to defend itself and forces them onto the host
planet, inevitably causing the players to join. The portals work
until the largest of the meteors in The Veil are launched at
Skaia. Either because the portals cannot teleport objects that
large or because they ran out, it usually become the player's
objective to stop this from happening. You should also already
know all this because Karkat (either him or Vriska I think)
explained it all to John (I think). The incipisphere consists of
Skaia, Prospit, The Medium, The Veil, Derse, and The Outer Ring,
furthest in to farthest out in that order. The planets of The
Medium are where the kids go to save themselves from impending
doom. And I do mean impending. The names of the planets usually
relate to the player and their relations or some other aspect of
their lives. I'll also explain this later. But because I like
playing with the colors on this thing, I am going to list all
the planets so I can figure out all the dang colors for future
reference. Enjoy my following derping.

By: Spotteh Date: June 18, 2013, 11:14 am
---------------------------------------------------------
Orbiting Skaia is the planet of
[shadow=white,left]Prospit[/shadow], also known as the Kingdom
of Light. The name Prospit is derived from 'prosperity', the
complete opposite of Derse. That should be pretty obvious
though. It is ruled by the White Queen while the White King is
away fighting. Again, pretty obvious. One more obvious thing is
that Prospit is destined to lose the battle. This is blatenly
obvious as it is mentioned MULTIPLE times during the comic and
the entire reason the game even exists. Let's move away from the
obvious for a while. Prospit's moon has a series of towers, one
for each dream self. These towers serve as information
gatherers. For each pre-entery prototyping, the information is
absorbed by the towers and sent to the Ring of Orbs, which is
worn by the White Queen. The wearer of the ring gains physical
features from each prototyping as well as power with each
prototyping. If the ring is taken off, then the power, as well
as the physical appearance, goes away. This is shown with Jack
Noir and the White Queen in the Beta session. When the postal
worker puts on the White Queen's ring, she gains the same
appearance as Bec Noir who has been wearing for at least one
prototyping. Something to be noted is that, while the White
Queen changes with each prototyping, the inhabitance of Prospit
do not. They remain their simple pawn self. I'll explain that
comment when I explain Derse. The septer that the White King has
is similar to the White Queen's ring. The septer has orbs around
the end and one on top that looks like Skaia. With every
prototyping, the White King becomes larger and his physical
strength increases. Makes you wonder what the White King looked
like in the Troll's session, huh?
Another thing about Prospit is that the Prospit dreamers are
able to see the past, present, and/or future by looking into
Skaia's clouds. This happens whenever there is a solar eclipse,
when Prospit's moon is close enough to Skaia that it dips into
the omniphisent clouds surrounding Skaia. This is one of the
more obvious things since Jade is talking about what she sees in
the clouds since practically the beginning of the game.
Trivia
[li]The center of Prospit's moon is hollow and filled with
chains. This is more fact now that fiction since the Alpha kid's
wait in the center of their respective moons on their quest beds
while waiting to become god tiers. This probably applies to
Prospit itself based on what has been seen of Derse which is
pretty much has the exact same set up at Prospit.[/li]
Re: The Seer's Ultimate Guide To Homestuck
By: Spotteh Date: June 18, 2013, 2:47 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
[shadow=purple,right]Derse[/shadow] lies at the edge of the
Medium, past the Veil, a thin belt of meteorites. Derse is also
know as the Kingdom of Darkness, which is a given. The name
Derse is derived from the words 'dearth' and 'terse'. Dearth
meaning 'the lack of something' and terse meaning 'abrupt'. As
with Prospit, there are towers on Derse that gather information
with each pre-entry prototyping. Same thing with the Black Queen
and King as well.
Once Derse defeats Prospit in battle, the Black King takes the
septer from the White King and uses it to begin the Reckoning by
sending the meteors in the Veil toward Skaia. Since the goal of
Derse is the destruction of Skaia, they aren't real big on the
players. However, there are rules in place that prevent the
Dersites from harming the players before the war starts. As Dirk
explains, they're seen as team mascots. That's about it. But on
a planet as wacked out as that, it only gets you so far.
Now a little about both Derse and Prospit that I said I would
explain later. This isn't completely on target with Derse but
seeing as we've seen more of it with Derse than Prospit, this
seems like a good place to put it. The people inhabiting Derse
and Prospit are modeled after chess pieces. The majority of them
are pawns. There's nothing really special about them, and, for
the sake of victory, are expendable. Pawns can only move one
space at a time, or two for their first move, forward and can
only attack when diagonal to another piece. The king can only
move one space in any direction. This is mirrored on the battle
field. It's how they stayed in a stalemate for so long. The king
is confined to the battle field and truely doesn't seem to do
much while his pawns die. That's usually how it goes in chess.
The queen is seen as a trump card. She can move in any direction
for any amount of spaces. She is the most valuable piece on the
board. A lot of the time, when you lose your queen in a game,
you're done. That's why, a lot of the time, you go after the
queen first. This is also mirrored in Homestuck. Even though she
doesn't leave the planet, she is the one running the show. And
in each session, even in the Beta's jacked up session where Jack
goes nuts, they always go after the queen first. Things are a
lot easier once she's gone. [s]Woman power!![/s] Those are
pretty easy to figure out. But they're not the only pieces
moving on the board.
I'll start with Jack. Jack is the rook. The rook can move any
amount of squares, so long as it's in strait line. It fits with
his personality type. He's very impatient and generally hates
people. But that's not what makes him the rook. He is very
straight forward and to the point. He wants to get the job done
and get it done fast. No pittling around. Just go. Do. In my
mind thats very accurate for how a rook functions. Go. Do.
Straight forward.
Next is the Bishop. The bishop can only move in diagonal lines
so it is confined to only one color on the board. For Homestuck,
the Draconian Dignitary or Diamonds Droog is the bishop. We
don't really get to see how he works until the Alpha session
when it becomes wonderfully obvious. He's manipulative and never
really seems to come straight forward with anything. He takes
his time and is patient, which is wonderful for a bishop. You
have to be patient if all you can do is go in diagonal lines.
The bishop is also the closest to the king and queen on the
board. This would explain why he's able to meet with and even
convince the Condesce, or Black Queen for the session. This is
even appearent in the Beta session as well just not as much.
Last is the Knight. Now the Knight, while it can only move in an
L-shape, has a very unique ability. The Knight can pass over the
different pieces, regardless of the color. That is something
that no other piece can do. Not even the queen. This makes the
knight another very important piece. The Hegemonic Brute or
Hearts Boxcars serves as the Knight. He is large and brutish,
powerful. Ideal for a knight. He can also go off planet. So far,
no others seem to be able to do that under normal circumstances.
And the moon does not count. He's also loyal, in his own way. He
follows though with his orders because he fights for the
kingdom, or the people he respects at least. That's why he's the
Knight.
Now on a chess board, there are two of each of those pieces,
three on the queen's side and three on the king's. Based on the
fact that Jack, Hearts and Diamonds are still on their planet
with the Black Queen, that means that they're on the queen side
of the board. Most likely, there is also another rook, knight
and bishop with the king, on the king's side. While I haven't
seen anything like that, it would make sense.
Trivia (I'll include some about Jack and them since they were
mentioned in this)
[li]The core of Derse and it's moon is hollow and filled
with chains but I mentioned this earlier.
[/li][li]Both times Hearts died, he died of decapitation.[/li]
[li]When Jack is prototyped with Bec, he resembles Anubis, the
Egyptian god of the dead who is depicted with the head of a
jackal. For that reason he could be called Jackal Noir. [/li]
[li]Diamonds acts as Jack(al)s moirail, preventing him from too
many senseless murders.[/li]
Re: The Seer's Ultimate Guide To Homestuck
By: Spotteh Date: June 19, 2013, 8:21 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
For my next part, [glow=gold,0,400]God Tiers[/glow], I will be
doing it in three parts. Classes, Aspects, and How it works.
Now. The How it works section is going to be complicated because
it includes how you find the god tier for the character and how
it connects to the land, which I will do after this joyous
mountain of brain blowing information.
There are 14 known classes, but since the session that created
the trolls universe had 48 players, there is most likely a total
of 48 classes and aspects that we just don't know about. These
classes are divided into passive (+) and active (-) classes. The
simplistic idea of how these are divided are active is
offensive, passive is defensive. This is just one of the many
different factors related to the god tier. While no classes
other than the Lord and Muse have been identified as active or
passive, there have been hints to what the other classes might
be. I'm going to do these in pairs of passive/active
counterparts.
First off is Rogue/Thief. These two are usually assigned to
female players but that doesn't mean that there hasn't been a
male thief that we don't know about. Both of these classes deal
with stealing. While a thief will steal for their own benefit,
making them active, a rouge will steal for the benefit of their
team, making them the thief's passive counterpart. I'll use
Nepeta and Vriska as examples. Nepeta is the Rogue of Heart.
Nepeta being Nepeta is a very generous, passionate, and devoted.
[s]sure signs of a leo[/s] She also ships her friends. While she
isn't the best at it, she tries. Her being a rogue of heart
implies that she is able to share her heart. This makes complete
sense since she does ridiculous things for the people she cares
about. It's just how she is. The known Rouges are Nepeta, the
Rogue of Heart, Roxy, the Rogue of Void, and Rufioh, the Rogue
of Breath. Now for Vriska. We've seen Vriska's god tier in
action. As the Thief of Light, she is able to steal good luck
from others for her own self benefit. This also makes sense in
it's own weird way. Vriska had a lot of bad luck when she was
younger, though she most definately deserved it, and learned
from that. She knows her luck, good or bad, and is able to use
this to her advantage. Known Thieves are Vriska, the Thief of
Light, and Meenah, the Thief of Life. One thing that I would
like to add, is that Nepeta and Vriska being opposites is not a
bit of randomness. Nepeta is a loving bundle of fur, and a loved
bundle of fur. So why does this friendly feline want-a-be stay
away from Vriska? Because they don't like each other. In
astrology, the scorpio and the leo are A. complete opposites and
B. horrible matches for each other. In fact, almost any Zodiac
website or whatever will say that Leos should avoid Scorpios and
Scorpios should avoid Leos. So no. This is no coincidence.

HTML http://i39.tinypic.com/29wsgax.jpg[/img]
Next is Heir/Maid. Being an Heir implies that you are 'one who
protects themself with [aspect]', the active counterpart. While
being a Maid means that you are 'made of [aspect]', the passive
counterpart. Oh look a pun. Hussie you kidder you. Anyways.
There are three Heirs that we know of. John, the Heir of
Breath, Equius, the Heir of Void, and Mituna, the Heir of Doom.
Another interpretation of being an Heir is that it is 'one who
is consumed by their aspect'. This makes sense too since John
was surrounded by the Windy Thing, Equius was hidden from Doc
Scratch's omniscience, and Mituna was surrounded by screams of
the impending dead. This is also one of those classes that,
while it has been giving to the majority of male players,
doesn't mean that there isn't a chic rocking the Heir outfit.
The Maid, however, is a female exclusive class. The known Maids
are Jane, the Maid of Life, Aradia, the Maid of Time, and
Porrim, the Maid of Space. The actually abilities of a Maid
aren't really known. Aradia is able to freeze Jack Noir to give
her teammates more time, and Jane is able to heal herself after
getting stabbed. Unfortunately, these two examples are
completely counterintuitive. Aradia helping her teammates
implies that the Maid is a passive class that helps her team.
Meanwhile, Jane healing herself implies that the Maid is active
that works for themselves. The Maid could really go either way.
But because of two factors, I think it is a passive class. The
first factor is that Maid is a shortened version Handmaid or
Sheildmaiden, lending itself to the passive aspect of this
class. The second factor is that it makes sense in my head.
That's good enough for me. Add on the other theory that Maids
are 'ones who protect themselves and/or others' and ba-dump.
They're passive. Another interesting relationship thing is that,
with John as an Heir and Jane as a Maid, that would make them
opposites. I can kind of see this when compairing their
personalities. They just don't seem to fit very well to me.
While they're not totally conflicting, they're not the best of
match either. This is mirrored with Vriska and Gamzee as well.
While they don't particularly like each other, they don't hate
each other either.

Up next is Page/Knight. In this little pairing, Pages are the
passive counterpart while Knights are the active counterpart.
The actual definition of Page in this content is unknown, as is
their powers. It is however very much implied that Pages have a
huge amount of potential, even though at the beginning they
essencially suck. Tavros is a good example of this. As a
cripple, you'd imagine that he would be an awful Page of Breath.
I think so too. However, this is where my own little theories
come in. If Tavros had managed to reach a certain level before
the game ended, I believe that it would have been revealed that
he had wings, like his ancestor/dancestor, regardless of whether
or not he actually achieved god tier. One theory about the Page
is that a Page is 'one who equips others with one's aspect'.
This would explain the breath symbol created by Tavros when he
prepared to revive Vriska with a kiss. Even though a lot about
the page is unknown, it is believed to be a male-exclusive
class. Known Pages are Jake, the Page of Hope, Tavros, the Page
of Breath, and Horuss, the Page of Void. Knights can be either
male or female. To be a Knight means that you are 'one who
equips themselves with [aspect]'. The powers of the Knight
haven't been defined like other classes but Aradia's explination
of them being warriors that exploit their powers as a weapon
supports the idea. Dave, for example, uses his ability to
manipulate time to attack and defeat his enemies. Another idea
of the Knights power is that they are protectors. This makes
sense. 'Knights in shining armor' after all. The Knights might
also play a role in breeding the Genesis Frog. In both sessions
seen so far, the Knight has assisted the Hero of Space in some
way or another during the breeding process. And in sessions
without a Knight, the session has been doomed to fail from the
outset. One thing to be noted is that the Known Knights have a
tendency to hide behind a 'mask'. Dave pretending to be cool and
Karkat pretending to be grumpy all the time even though they're
not. Another interesting fact is the connections between the
Knight and a deficit of said aspect among the team. Dave makes
up for the early Reckoning in the Beta session, while Karkat
manages to unify the team despite the unbelievable lack of it.
And Meenah constantly calls her teammates stupid, most likely in
relation to Latula and her aspect, Mind. The known Knights are
Dave, the Knight of Time, Karkat, the Knight of Blood, and
Latula, the Knight of Mind.

A rather strong pairing is Seer/Mage. The Seer class is one for
both males and females and has been explained several times
over. For that reason, I'm not really going to devel into it.
The idea of Seers plays greatly on the idea of 'knowledge is
power', as does a Mage, which is why these two are together. To
be a Seer means that you are 'one who benefits others with their
knowledge pertaining to their aspect'. Seers also know their
aspect conprihensively. For example, Terezi knows all the
outcomes of individual actions and Rose know the 'most
fortuitous' path. They also keep their party from making grave
mistakes, as though they have a stratigy guide to SBURB engraved
in their mind. This would explain why Rose was the one who wrote
a guide to SBURB rather than one of the other players in the
session. One other thing to be noted is that both Seers and
Mages have a higher likely hood of being able to hear the mental
commands of the exiles. The known Seers are Rose, the Seer of
Light, Terezi, the Seer of Mind, and Kankri, the Seer of Blood.
As with Seers, Mages can be either male or female. But rather
than 'one who benefits others with their knowledge pertaining to
their aspect', a Mage is 'one who benefits themselves with
knowledge pertaining to their aspect'. It should be noted that
in the troll's session, both the Seer and the Mage were blind
but only them. As Sollux explains it 'iits kiind of liike how a
prophet earn2 hii2 2triipe2, by beiing bliind, like how an angel
earn2 hii2 wiing2'. This alludes to the pairing of the Seer and
the Mage classes. Being a Mage could also be interpreted as 'one
who receives knowledge from [aspect]' instead. Sollux was able
to hear the voices of the DOOMED and Meulin is able to
communicate with her ex-matesprit despite being deaf. Yet
another theory about Mages is that they are 'ones who are
protected from their aspects'. This could be supported by the
fact that Sollux had two dreamselves, was able to leave the
dream bubble and was only half dead, while Meulin doesn't seem
to have much heartbreak despite her romantic troubles. There are
a few more speculations that I won't go into though. Known Mages
are Sollux, the Mage of Doom, and Meulin, the Mage of Heart.

HTML http://i39.tinypic.com/ipqgzc.jpg[/img]
From there you have Sylph/Witch. The Sylph is a magical class
that focuses on healing and is described as 'more magical' than
a witch. This comment could imply that while Witches focus on
more physical matters, Sylph affect more abstract, psychological
matters, which would explain Jade and Aranea. However Kanaya,
who made the comment in the first place, later says 'I Am On
Record As Once Having Facetiously Likened It To A Magical
Witch', dispelling the idea. Even though it really does make
sense since people often time view fixing someone's head more
'magical' than fixing someone's body. I personally like this
idea so I'm sticking with it. Being a Sylph might be 'one who
unlocks [aspect] for others'. This would be backed up by
Aranea's healing Terezi's eyes, unlocking her 'light' for her,
and Kanaya's 'unlocking space' by teleporting and other
abilities similar to Jade's had she become god tier. The Sylph
class is most likely a female exclusive class. Which is good
because a male should not be wearing a nightgown it's weird.
Known Sylphs are Kanaya, the Sylph of Time, and Aranea, the
Sylph of Light. Witches are most commonly described as 'one who
manipulates [aspect]' but that's kind of vague. The Witch class
might also be a pun like the Maid class, by choosing 'which'
portion of their aspect they want. Like Jade choosing which part
of Space she wants to manipulate or Feferi choosing which Life
she wants to lead. This is also a female-exculisive class. The
known Witches are Jade, the Witch of Space, Feferi, the Witch of
Life, and Damara, the Witch of Time. Both of these classes have
something to do with secrets. Traditional connotations of Sylphs
and Witches are mysterious and secretive. All of those in these
two classes are nice and friendly on the surface, however, they
are surprisingly powerful in some way and can be really fiery if
pushed to the edge. Additionally, the Sylphs and Witches have
entered their sessions rather late and Jade commented on how she
was the last to enter her session, the last to find her powers
and last to become god tier.

HTML http://i41.tinypic.com/351v2bq.jpg[/img]
The last pairing that we actually know stuff about it
Bard/Prince. Now both of these classes are exclusively male.
[s]Dunno how a girl could wear that codpiece. Dun want to
either.[/s] The Prince is the active counterpart and is 'one who
destroys via [aspect]' or 'destroyer of [aspect]'. The Prince's
powers seem to include unbelievable offense, being able to
completely overtake other aspects or players. This would explain
Eridan's ability to knock out or kill a lot of his teammates,
including Sollux who was one of the most powerful fighters on
their team, behind Gamzee, Vriska, and possibly Equius, and
destroy the Matriorb, the only chance of survival for the
troll's race. Eridan's 'white science' may have actually been
his aspect, Hope, being used to attack. If this is the case, the
Prince may be able to channel their aspect into a physical form
for destructive purposes. Dirk literally destroyed Heart when he
killed Hearts Boxcars. Added on top of that, Dirk is a
phenomenal fighter. This would also explain his horrible luck
with relationships. Sucks for him. The known Princes are Dirk,
the Prince of Heart, Eridan, the Prince of Hope, and Kurloz, the
Prince of Rage. Bards are a little weirder. Actually, they're
probably the weirdest class that we know of. To be a Bard means
you are 'one who allows destruction of [aspect]'. They're also
extremely unpredictable and are just as likely to help their
session as they are to hinder it. They can be the single most
reason their party's massive downfall, their party's improbably
victory, or both. Hint hint nudge nudge: GAMZEE. Speaking of
him, when he enters his berserker mode, he is able to create a
large amount of fear in others around him as well as purple
lightning, which based on the colors of his god tier outfit, are
most likely Rage. He is able to invite Rage in Terezi causing
them to become kemisises, which has a very self-destructive
result on Terezi. Bards are able to 'mimic' the abilities of
other aspects. This supports the idea of Princes and Bards being
opposites as Princes overpower other aspects whereas Bards
exploit the aspects. Known Bards are Gamzee, the Bard of Rage,
and Cronus, the Bard of Hope. Something rather interesting that
has virtually no value in this, is that both Princes and Bards
god tier outfits are slightly reminiscent of outfits worn by
princes and bards in ancient times.

HTML http://i39.tinypic.com/mkc6f4.jpg[/img]
Last but most definately not least is Lord/Muse. These two are
the master classes and are greatly more powerful than the other
classes. There isn't much to be said about these classes as
there isn't much known about them. Lords are a male-exclusive
class and completely active, while Muses are a female-exclusive
class and are completely passive. Seeing who these two classes
are given too, of course they are paired. It's possible that
these classes interfere with things on a cosmic level, the fact
that Lord English/Caliborn has the ability to destroy dream
bubbles and Calliope putting herself in real events would back
this up. The Muse class could follow the traditional roll to
inspire, as Calliope inspired thousands of trolls to seek her
out. According to Caliborn's rant, being a Lord involves
excruciating effort and loads of suffering. These classes are
also not very common as you may imagine, and it seems to be very
difficult to reach god tier if you are one. If Calliborn's
session is any indication, it would mean that to be a Lord or
Muse, you would need to be in a single player session. This is
against the rules of SBurb itself and even then, the session you
would end up playing is nearly impossible to beat. I personally
think it's fair to say that no troll or human could do this,
which is most likely why the Cherubs, a much more powerful
species, ended up becoming it. It's also possible that the
'master classes' are 'master copies' and the guidelines for what
defines the active and passive classes. Unfortunately there are
no pictures of the god tiers for the Lord or Muse class. The
only known Lord is Caliborn, the Lord of Time and the only known
Muse is Calliope, the Muse of Space.

---------------------------------------------------------
Next is Aspects. Aspects is the element assigned to a player
that decides their abilities and roll in the game.
Let's start with Time since that is one we see often. Time is
one of the basic fabrics of paradox space, the other being
space. Every successful session must have a Hero of Time. Doc
Scratch says so himself. The Hero of Time is also in charge of
the game's emergency reset. The Time player's abilities seem to
include being able to hop around in time and, depending on the
class, stop it around others. Time players also have a thing
with death. [s]Which would explain my horrible time with pets
and plants.[/s] Dave collects dead things and Aradia was
actually dead when she entered the game. All Time players have
been Derse dreamers, adding to the idea of death and
destruction. The known Heroes of Time are Dave, the Knight of
Time, Aradia, the Maid of Time, Damara, the Witch of Time, and
Caliborn, the Lord of Time. Also, as an added little note, each
of these characters are associated with red before their god
tier aspect was revealed. Just think about it for a second.
HTML http://i41.tinypic.com/95mmnd.jpg[/img]
Next is Space, the other basic fabric of paradox space. The Hero
of Space has the Forge located on their Land and are usually in
charge of breeding the Genesis Frog. The Space player's
abilities include being able to resize objects and change their
velocity, and just about anything else involving the Laws of
Physics. Namely breaking them. Space is thought of being related
to Life and creation, as opposed to death which is Time's thing.
All of the Space players have had their dream selves awoken
before enter the Medium, have been female, are associated with
green in some way (counteracting Time's red), and have been
Prospit dreamers. The known Heroes of Space are Jade, the Witch
of Space, Kanaya, the Sylph of Space, Porrim, the Maid of Space,
and Calliope, the Muse of Space.
HTML http://i39.tinypic.com/2n6vy2f.jpg[/img]
After that is Void, the 'essence of lacking or nothingness' and
the 'obfuscation of knowledge or it's outright destruction'. It
is the antithesis to Light. Void players have the ability to go
unnoticed by other players and to create something out of
nothing. Roxy has the ability to become invisible and Equius is
shielded from Doc Scratch's omniscience. Void players may also
be connect to the Furthest Ring, which has been mentioned as the
void. This would explain Rose's screen going black when she goes
grimdark. Two Void players use fistkind strife secibus. This
would make sense as Fistkind is the lack of a weapon. The known
Heroes of Void are Roxy, the Rogue of Void, Equius, the Heir of
Void, and Horuss, the Page of Void.
HTML http://i42.tinypic.com/33e0y2f.jpg[/img]
Light is another important aspect. Light presides over luck and
good fortune, which we can obviously see with Vriska. Two Heroes
of Light have been able to see into a magic cue ball, which
might mean that Light is the knowledge that counteracts Void.
Aranea would back this up as she can heal people by helping them
look at things honestly. Light players also have a thing for
history and discovery. Two of them enjoy forcing audiences to
listen to long winded stories while the other is a treasure
hunter. This also counteracts Void as Void obscures information
and is ignored. The known Heroes of Light are Rose, the Seer of
Light, Vriska, the Thief of Light, and Aranea, the Sylph of
Light
[IMG]
HTML http://i39.tinypic.com/bgy7nc.jpg[/img]
Next up is Mind, my personal favorite aspect. Mind relates to
thoughts and decisions of an individual and the results of those
decisions. Heroes of Mind have the ability to communicate with
the otherwise undetectable dream splinters which are created
from dream bubbles. Mind is the antithesis of Heart as Mind
resides over logic and reasoning. Unfortunately there isn't much
to be said about Mind as there hasn't really been much with the
Mind players. The known Heroes of Mind are Terezi, the Seer of
Mind, and Latula, the Knight of Mind.
HTML http://i43.tinypic.com/2q3w415.jpg[/img]
Then there's Heart. Heart is comparable to 'Soul' or essence of
being. Heroes of Heart tend to lead a path for themselves,
however the aspect may cause splintering in the Hero. This does
include Nepeta, though the splintering was in others rather than
herself. For example, as Equius's moirail, she was able to keep
him subdued otherwise he would have been worse that he was as
one of the most powerful players in his session. Heart may be
associated with motivation, which would explain the Heroes of
Hearts interest in shipping. In a sense, Heart could also have
to do with 'personality' and what makes a person who they are,
namely their likes and dislikes. The known Heroes of Heart are
Dirk, the Prince of Heart, Nepeta, the Rogue of Heart, and
Meulin, the Mage of Heart.
HTML http://i42.tinypic.com/1563exi.jpg[/img]
And Rage, which, in my opinion, is an extremely powerful aspect.
Wrath is a deadly sin after all. Rage could also have to do with
sanity and madness. I say this because, look at Gamzee. He went
from a mild mannered stoner to totally batsh.t with a flip of a
switch. Of course that could just be him being a high blood. It
is appearent however that Heroes of Rage have a control over
negitive emotions. Kurloz ships black quadrant romance while
Gamzee causes Rage in Terezi, making them kismisses. The known
Heroes of Rage are Gamzee, the Bard of Rage, and Kurloz, the
Prince of Rage.
HTML http://i39.tinypic.com/mmd1z7.jpg[/img]
Hope is another aspect that can be very powerful. Caliborn
states that hope has 'unparalleled power'. Hope seems to embody
it's literal meaning and certain holy powers. Eridan's 'white
science' is actually his aspect, Hope and is described as 'holy'
and 'sacred'. Hope is possibly the antithesis of Rage, as Hope
is believing in many possibilities while Rage is believing in
only one. Jake states that 'friendship is a huge key to being
good at hope'. The known Heroes of Hope are Jake, the Page of
Hope, Eridan, the Prince of Hope, and Cronus, the Bard of Hope.
HTML http://i41.tinypic.com/5vyyon.jpg[/img]
The aspect of Doom seems to have a special place in the troll's
session. Doom is death, the antithesis of Life. Duh. Heroes of
Doom seem to have an extra sense for bad things to come,
regardless of their class. Doom might also refer to sacrifice as
both Heroes of Doom sacrificed themselves to save their team;
Sollux sacrificing himself to get his team to the Green Sun and
Mituna sacrificing himself to save everyone from an unknown
danger. Based on Sollux, they might have an affinity for rules
and knowing how the game works. This could of course just be
Sollux's class talking though. The Heroes of Doom may also have
two dreamselves, however that's just a theory since it could
just be the Captors. The known Heroes of Doom are Sollux, the
Mage of Doom, and Mituna, the Heir of Doom.
HTML http://i42.tinypic.com/6edc3d.jpg[/img]
Life always seems like a good aspect to have. I'm going to
assume that I don't have to tell you what it means. The Heroes
of Life's abilities naturally include resurecting people. Jane's
dreamself comes back to Life after being stabbed, and a Feferi
from an offshoot timeline manages to bring the Mayor back to
Life in a dream bubble despite being dead. Also, as Doom has an
understanding of rules, Life bends those rules as far as they
will go without breaking them. Again, Feferi is a wonderful
example of this. She is dead but can bring someone back to Life.
That just doesn't make sense but she does it anyways! With this
in mind, it would mean that Life players would know those unsaid
rules as well. And then just ignore them. Cause that's fun. The
known Heroes of Life are Jane, the Maid of Life, Feferi, the
Witch of Life, and Meenah, the Thief of Life.
HTML http://i42.tinypic.com/eilegx.jpg[/img]
A rather interesting aspect is Blood. Blood does not have a
clear cut meaning, or even abilities for that matter. One
speculation though is unity. This would explain Karkat's ability
to unite the troll's despite their differences. Neither Karkat
nor Kankri ever reached their full potential as Blood players,
however, the Signless[s]who is awesome[/s] began to as the
former Seer of Blood with visions of Beforus, which caused him
to begin a revolution. This also links back to the unity thing.
The known Heroes of Blood are Karkat, the Knight of Blood, and
Kankri, the Seer of Blood.
HTML http://i41.tinypic.com/97mp3n.jpg[/img]
Now for the last known aspect, Breath! Breath is the antithesis
to Blood as it is connected to direction. It might also be
related to movement and rising up as well. Breath players have
several powers including the Windy Thing that John does. This
would include being able to turn into wind and flying, which is
pretty awesome. I'm getting tired so I'm ending this thing. The
known Heroes of Breath are John, the Heir of Breath, Tavros, the
Page of Breath, and Rufioh, the Rogue of Breath.

Finally there's [glow=white,2,300]how it works[/glow]. This part
is complicated and kind of hard to explain so it is more than ok
to ask a question if you don't understand something. The god
tiers are different for each species, as I've come to figure
out. For humans, it's meant to challenge. For trolls, it's meant
to expand on what they already do. I'll explain that later but
for now let's focus on humans. The god tiers are decided by many
things but two of the major ones are personality and what
challenges you. I'm going to be using myself as an example.
Mainly because it's the easiest for me to explain. I am the Seer
of Time. The class explains the personality. As a Seer, it means
I'm more analytical than others. You can see this in Rose. She
spends her time analyzing others and figuring out how they work.
Something that we have in common. Same goes for Terezi. Though
she isn't openly analytical, her interest in becoming a
legislacerator means that she has to be more perceptive than the
average troll and be able to get inside others' heads to figure
out how and why they might have done something. Now a Mage is
also analytical so why am I a Seer rather than a Mage? A Mage
focuses on themself and their interest rather than others. While
Rose works with Dave or whoever to figure out why he acts the
way he does, and helps him in the process; Sollux just throws
his theories in his face and doesn't seem to give a flying f.ck
about what the other person has to say. That is the difference
between the two. Another thing I would like to add that probably
doesn't have anything to do with it is that the Seer's so far
have had a wonderful grasp on sarcasm and enjoy using it. I'm
including myself in this. >:3
Next is the aspect. The aspect is the part of the god tier that
is meant to challenge us humans. Some catch onto it sooner than
others but there challenge is still there. The Seer of Time for
example. What the crap does that mean? The crap means I'm going
to explain it once I move on to powers, for now though, more
Rose. As the Seer of Light, Rose is able to see the best path to
take. And for her that is the challenge. Rose was very immersed
in the occult and dark magic and whatever the the horrorterrors
were whisperin' in her ear. For someone like that to see the
brightest path as opposed to the darkest, can be a bit of a
challenge. But at the same time, doesn't it make sense? Someone
who has walked the darkest path should be able to know it when
they see it. Her experience going grimdark gives her the
knowledge she needs to have to be a good Seer of Light. She was
able to learn from her mistakes to become the awesomeness that
she is now. So, while I don't know how to be a Seer of Time, as
someone who sits and points out all the timeloops in Doctor Who,
it make sense. Time is my challenge.
Now I said I would mention powers. This part is mainly just for
me to shoot off a few headcanons on what a Seer of Time would be
able to do. As a Seer of Time, I would be able to 'see' what
happens throughout the time stream. Most likely all of them for
that matter. It would make sense and would be immensely helpful
to know the outcome of the team's choices before they happen. It
is the job of the Seer to keep the rest of the team from
screwing up royally after all. This is pretty impressive, in my
mind at least, however, seeing all of that information at one
time, or all the time if there isn't kind of shut off, would
most likely be very hard to make sense of and possibly drive the
Seer crazy. Of course this is all just a headcanon I made up
because it sounds cool and I'm a sucker for sadstuck. For this
reason, you can just ignore this little part if you want since
it doesn't really have much to do with anything.
Moving on. I had mentioned earlier that the god tiers for trolls
were different. The class part isn't very different but the
reason behind the aspect is. Rather than challenge the trolls,
the aspect benefits them. I'm going to use several different
trolls as example for this. Let's start off with Vriska since we
see her god tier more than any other troll's. Vriska already has
a habit of causing others misfortune. Being the Thief of Light
only makes things better for her as now, she can cause others
misfortune and bring herself good luck. That's like the best
thing ever for a pirate. Terezi is another good example. What
better ability for a legislacerator than to be able to 'see' the
outcome of an individuals action? That practically solves the
crime right there and she'd easily become one of the best out
there. Same applies with Eridan, the Prince of Hope. If someone
wanted to wipe out all land-dwellers, don't you think it would
be pretty crap dang handy to be able to weaponize/destroy hope
in case there was any kind of rebellion? I do.

Next is Lands. There's going to be a lot of listing in this part
so be prepared. Now there isn't just loads and loads of stuff to
be said about the different lands. Lands are based on a mix of
personality, aspect and elements. For the humans at least. For
the trolls they're based on the trolls interests/personal traits
and their aspect. Each session seems to have a different
combination of these elements and a different theme. I'm truly
not entirely sure what the theme is for the beta session.
However, their planets are created with an associated element,
an associated item and their aspect. The exception being Jade's
planet that included her duty as a Hero of Space. This also
applies to Kanaya, the Hero of Space in the troll's session. In
the alpha session, the theme was death and nobility and had a
combination of a noble gas and an associated element, namely an
element that opposed their aspect. An example of this is Jane's
planet being related to death, the opposing element to life. The
planets having noble gases connect how the players can never
really seem to get along for a long time. The troll's planets
are specifically made up of their interest and something linked
to their class. That's about it for them. I also don't really
get why the land's consorts are what they are. I think Hussie
just likes reptiles and amphibians. The names of the lands
follow a very specific pattern of "Land of [word] and [word]".
The only one that doesn't follow this pattern is Nepeta's land,
the Land of Little Cubes and Tea. But that's because the
abbreviation spells out LOLCAT. And I mean, you can't just let
that go. It's purrfection for her. Anywho. I think I'm done with
that. Like I said, there isn't much to be said about the Lands.
So now I'm going to list them all. Wee!
John's planet: Land of Wind and Shade (LOWAS)
Rose's planet: Land of Light and Rain (LOLAR)
Dave's planet: Land of Heat and Clockwork (LOHAT)
Jade's planet: Land of Frost and Frogs (LOFAF)
Jane's planet: Land of Crypts and Helium (LOCAH)
Roxy's planet: Land of Pyramids and Neon (LOPAN)
Dirk's planet: Land of Tombs and Krypton (LOTAK)
Jake's planet: Land of Mounds and Xenon (LOMAX)
Aradia's planet: Land of Quarts and Melody (LOQAM)
Tavros's planet: Land of Sand and Zephyr (LOSAZ)
Sollux's planet: Land of Brains and Fire (LOBAF)
Karkat's planet: Land of Pulse and Haze (LOPAH)
Nepeta's planet: Land of Little Cubes and Tea (LOLCAT)
Kanaya's planet: Land of Rays and Frogs (LORAF)
Terezi's planet: Land of Thought and Flow (LOTAF)
Vriska's planet: Land of Maps and Treasure (LOMAT)
Equius's planet: Land of Caves and Silence (LOCAS)
Gamzee's planet: Land of Tents and Mirth (LOTAM)
Eridan's planet: Land of Wrath and Angels (LOWAA)
Feferi's planet: Land of Dew and Glass (LODAG)
And here's
