nobody knows! [open, weekly tasks]

[ okay, a bit like weekly tasks but, also, patrols. i'll
probably do random pairings (or threes, if apprentices are
involved) so that some cats may be introduced to one another on
a personal setting. also i may give your character a few
tasks/chores/patrols, so that everyone has a chance for an open
and private thread ]

It was early morning - time to give out the tasks for the day.
Or, rather, the week. It was easier to tell everyone what they
would be doing for the week, rather then doing it day by day.
"Okay, everyone! It's time to hand out tasks!" She called,
hoping her weak voice would travel well.

Upon hearing the order Sunnypaw makes her way toward the noise,
she sits and patiently waits for others to show up.

Crow-wing approached soon after his apprentice did, his ears
flicking towards the deputy. He sat next to Sunnypaw, his tail
twitching slightly.

Waterpaw padded after Sunnypaw, having woken up when the other
left the den. She rubbed her eye with her paw, peering at
Spiderscare. Her eyes were squinted, as she could barely see at
all, let alone with this thick fog.

"Okay!" Spiderscare began, her fur ruffling up slightly.
"Crowwing, I want you to lead a hunting patrol. Feel free to
take Sunnypaw with you, of course, and anyone else who wants to
tag along." there wasn't anyone else around to tack on to that
patrol, at the moment, so she let Crowwing decide. "As well, I
would like you and I to take the apprentices out for a group
training - I'm hoping to finish Snakepaw's training and appease
the Gods, so I need to know where he's at." Sunnypaw wasn't too
far behind Snakepaw, though Waterpaw was far behind the both of
them. "Let's just hope Snakepaw shows up soon." she finished
that quickly, ears flicked back.
"As for smaller tasks while you wait, Sunnypaw, can you fix the
elders den? Firedash says that it's getting drafty again.
Waterpaw, I would like you to do the same with the nursery.
Owlkit is still fairly young, and I don't want her catching
kitten cough without us having a medic." Spiderscare continued,
her tail twitching over her stomach. She wasn't pregnant, but
she surely didn't want her future children to be cold. "And,
Crowwing, if you could get the old prey out of the fresh-kill
pile, that would be grand." she finished, sitting back. She
already had a task for herself - gather a few herbs that she
knew, for the future medic. Y'know, if they ever got one.
[ i forgot to mention that i may also rehash your character in
someone else's task, so be on the lookout! i'll also do a tldr
at the end of each post;
crowwing:
- bring sunnypaw & whoever on a hunting patrol
- meet spiderscare, waterpaw, snakepaw, and sunnypaw in the
clearing for a battle sess
- separate the bad food from the good food in the fresh kill
pile
sunnypaw:
- attend crowwing's hunting patrol
- attend the battle session with the other apprentices
- patch up the elder's den
waterpaw:
- attend battle session
- patch up nursery
spiderscare
- attend battle session
- gather herbs
snakepaw
- attend battle session ]

Snakepaw joined the meeting about halfway through, but caught
most of what he needed to hear as he quickly walked over. After
all that rushing, all he had to do was join a battle training
session. Not that was complaining, the less work he had to do
the better, but what was the point in rushing over if she could
have just told him later? So he kind of just sat there, since
he'd have to wait for Spiderscare to hold the battle session
anyway.

Morningstar approached soon after, along with Dragonpaw and
Baldpaw bc i'm tired and cautious about what the Thing is.

[ also to remember to make threads of your tasks if you decide
to do them! my characters would love to help yours out, if
possible <3 ]
Spiderscare nodded towards the two, her fur ruffling a bit when
she spotted Snakepaw. "And Snakepaw... you and I will be going
on a private hunt together, later. To assess your abilities."
she hummed, tail swishing behind her. "In the mean time, you can
have fun picking the elders free of their ticks." the she-cat
nodded slowly with her decision, moving along to the next hoard
of cats. Okay, not hoard, but quite a few.
"Dragonpaw, Baldpaw, I would like you both to attend the battle
session as well. Dragonpaw, when you can, please tell Stagpaw to
do the same." she felt slightly embarrassed to have forgotten
about the three apprentices, especially since they were rumored
to be directly related to their Gods. "Otherwise, Dragonpaw, I
want you and Stagpaw to clean up the apprentice's den. It smells
as if no one changed their bedding ever since I left." she
hummed. "And Baldpaw, when I come back with some herbs, I would
like you to sort them out accordingly, if at all possible." She
was unsure if the apprentice new about herbs, but it was worth
the shot.
"And Morningstar, it'd be great if you could lead a patrol
across to the GoldClan border. I went out there with Stagpaw
last night," his mentor had been ill, so she took him on to see
the territory. "There was a male scent near the stream. The one
far from the civil ground, I mean." She pointed her nose in the
direction she was speaking of. "I'd prefer, personally, if you
took warriors instead of apprentices. But, you're the leader, so
feel free to do whatever you wish. Oh! And the battle session. I
assume that apprentices will want to show their worth to you."
the tortie hummed, finishing up her little speech.

with them, but you don't have to post something for them unless
you want to )
That dumb smug smile appeared on Snakepaw's face when she
mentioned his name, however, moments later it disappeared and
was replaced with disgust. He should have seen that coming. He
gave a more or less fake smile and mouthed a sarcastic 'thanks'.
Lavenderpelt hurried over, a little embarrassed by how late she
was. The warrior quickly sat down. Freepaw joined as well,
though he looked a bit confused.
