Snowkit grinned as he launched himself at his brother again with
a cry, having stayed quiet as he crept up behind him so he could
surprise him.

"Huh? Oh - oh you're riGHT--!"[/B] the young tom's voice hitched
as his brother tackled him. He flipped over with a giggle and
tried to kick his brother off. [b]"Snowclaw, you will never
defeat me!" Badgerkit roared.
"I can?" the young she-cat smiled a bit more at Lilywhisker, a
little more relieved. "That's nice to know. I guess I should
start watching you guys, too, and see who are better for my
babies." she meant it as a joke, though her tone was somewhat
serious.

[font=courier]Lilywhisker gave a nod, a brief smile appearing on
her muzzle. Her ears twitched as she listened to Badgerkit and
Snowkit play with one another. "They'd make great warriors
Flora."
As she said this, her son, Cactuspaw, quietly padded into camp
with a few mice in his maw. His ears perked a bit when he heard
his mother speaking, though soon realized she was talking to
Flora. He quietly and quickly went over to the fresh kill pile
to drop off his mice.[/font]

"Nice haul kid." Maplefur told Cactuspaw, she was referencing to
mice he brought in "You'll make a great warrior if your fighting
skills are as good as your hunting skills." She picked up one of
the fresh mice and went watched the kits playfight as she ate.

twitching back slightly. "Oh.. uh.. thank you Maplefur.." The
grey-brown tom glanced down at said prey, and subtracting the
one Maplefur had just taken, it was still a very good bunch of
catches for someone who only trained for two moons. "I'm not
much of a fighter though.." His mother always pointed out his
great hunting skills, something she always said he got from his
dad. Sometimes he wished he had his mother's fighting
skills.[/font]

Maplefur looked back at the apprentice. "Well you've got plenty
of time to get better, you've only been training for, what, two
moons now? You've got plenty of time to learn."

Maplefur shrugged her shoulders, He's probably just nervous. She
continued to eat and watch the kits.

Silentstripe watched the kits fight and felt relieved when an
apprentice appeared. "Don't know how to fight? Maybe they'll
teach you," he mumbled to Cactuspaw, tilting his head to point
his ears at the kits. He figured the apprentice could watch them
and get them off of his back. The silver warrior walked over to
Flora and settled down. "Nervous?" he asked with a slight yawn.
"Couldn't help but overhear your conversation. They'll be fine
warriors," he mumbled, setting his chin on his paws.

spoke, catching on to what he meant and padding over to the kits
to supervise them instead, trying his best smile and giving a
tiny hint of a chuckle. "Yeah, Silentstripe is right. Maybe you
two should show me how to fight."[/font]
