Clan of the night.[/center]

[center]Introduction
You walk through a tall grass, unable to see with fog and mist
settling along the ground. The only thing that your senses
notice is that there are cats nearbye and only the tallest of
trees surrounding you. You feel a slight chill go up your spine
as you hear a call in the distance followed by the sight of a
yellow eye. A large russet tom with only one eye walks up to
you, his gaze looking calm and kind despite his looks. "Are you
lost?" he asks, his voice as quiet as a whisper. You nod your
head, which is followed by him telling you to follow him. After
this you see a nice clearing, with cats looking just at you. "I
am Foxstar young one, and this is Shadowclan. Stay as long as
you feel,"he then says, his voice kind. Ever since, you have
stayed in this clan.[/center]

[center]History
Shadowclan started as a constantly traveling clan for the
longest of time, calling themselves the outcasts before they
figured out clan-life. In this time there was a constant
struggle for power and each leader only ruled for a short time
due to being killed or kicked out by another tyrant. This all
ended when Oak was the leader of The Outcasts, Oak had made the
group travel until everyone was at their weakest point and
hardly let anyone hunt unless he felt as though they deserved to
and even then he made that cat share their prey with the group.
Then a cat named Shadow and his young son fox had talked about
overthrowing Oak and finally settling down. After a season of
plotting, Shadow had challenged Oak to a fight to the death for
leadership. Oak happily agreed thinking that Shadow was too weak
to win against him, in which he was really. On the day that the
fight happened, Fox had killed Oak once and for all by stepping
in to help which had cost him his right eye. After defeating
Oak, Shadow promised his groupmates that he would put an end to
the constant travel. After two seasons of searching endlessly
for a perfect territory they found a thick forest with an
abundance of ponds to drink and fish in. Shadow however was too
weak to be leader, passing down leadership to his son after
explaining what he was told in his dreams by starclan. After
this, Foxstar had named the clan Shadowclan in honor of his

Leader:Most respected cat in the clan, makes the executive
decisions in the clan.Foxstar - played by AppleJunkie
Deputy:Next in line for leader, sets patrols and fills in for
the leader if they are sick or unable to talk. TBA played by
OPEN.
General: A replacement for deputy if the current deputy dies or
becomes leader, makes strategic plans to win in wars and
prepares Warriors for war.

Assasin:a cat that kills cats that are guilty of treason against
their clan or spy on another clan by pretending to join their
clan as lost kittypets. They mostly stay in camp unless to hunt
and/or go on a mission that their leader sends them off to. They
cannot leave their position until they have at least trained two
cats as an assassin.
Healer: main healer of the clan, heals the wounds and illnesses
that cats may receive and they also receive messages from
starclan.

Healer's aid: a young cat learning how to heal cats of their
wounds or an illness.

Warriors: cats that hunt/fight for the clan
Apprentices: cats taught in the ways of being a warrior or an
assassin. Assasin's apprentices are trained in secret and aren't
Assasins until the age of 20 moons, while a warrior's apprentice
is a warrior at twelve moons.
Kit-mothers: cats that have taken time off their duties to
become a parent and take care of their young.
Kits:the youngest members of the clan, who stay in the nursery
until they are the age of six moons.
Elders: cats that have retired from their former duties or
simply cannot perform them anymore, usually very respected in
the clan.

1.Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have
friendships with cats from other Clans, but your loyalty must
remain to your Clan, as one day you may meet them in battle.
2.Do not hunt or trespass on another Clan's territory.
3.Elders, queens, and kits must be fed before apprentices and
warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat
until they have hunted to feed the elders. If any warrior or
apprentice is sick or injured, they may eat while the elders,
queens, and kits are eating.
4.Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to StarClan for
its life.
5.A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice.
6.Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one
night after receiving their warrior name.
7.A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least
one apprentice.
8.The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies,
retires or is exiled.
9.After the death or retirement of the deputy, the new deputy
must be chosen before moonhigh.
10.A Gathering of all four Clans is held at the full moon during
a truce that lasts for the night. There shall be no fighting
among Clans at this time.
11.Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all
trespassing cats.
12.No warrior can neglect a kit in pain or danger, even if the
kit is from a different Clan.
13.The word of the Clan Leader is the warrior code.
14.An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win
his/her battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or if
it is necessary for self-defense.
15.A warrior rejects the soft life of a kittypet.
16. An assassin or a medicine cat cannot have a mate or kits.
Any cat breaking this law will be beaten until unconsciousness
and forced to watch their kit drown once they wake up.
17. Warriors have a right to overthrow the current leader if
they think that the leader has become a bloodthirsty tyrant.
18. Anyone caught breaking these rules will either be beaten
outside the camp where no one can hear them, exiled, or killed.
