       Fae would be gone by the time anyone arrived. There were three
       kittens together in a basket. Each had a collar; one was teal
       with the name 'Toughkit' on the front of the tag, one was purple
       with the name 'Bravekit' on the front of the tag, and the last
       was blue with the name 'Firekit' on the front of the tag. On the
       back of each tag, there were the words 'Return to Morilec'
       engraved. A little note sat tucked in with them, which read only
       a few short words.
       Morilec. These are your children. Take care of them.

       her. She was too sensitive and wanted to hide in her mother's
       fur, but she couldn't find her. The cream colored kit whimpered
       as she found herself at the edge of the basket with no grooming

       Morilec was out, stretching out his neck and testing out the
       limits of his dragon body when he came across the basket. He
       scrunched up his nose, lowering his large, scaled head to read
       the letter. He let out a growl, laying down next to the basket
       and curling a claw under Toughkit's tag, reading it carefully.
       He did the same with Firekit, then Bravekit, before finally
       shifting out of his dragon form and into his cat form. "Can you
       little brats walk yet?" he huffed, using his more delicate paw
       to push around the children, awaiting a reaction from any of
       them.
       Toughkit let out a distressed whine when she was poked by the
       foreign claw, and then nudged my a much smaller paw. She tried
       to hide under her siblings, her thick fur rustling.

       touched by the stranger and wiggled away him, already
       distressed. She was clearly terrified of Morilec, which might
       change in the future, and wanted to be with her mother more than

       Firekit squirmed uncomfortably when the stranger poked and pawed
       at him and his siblings. This new scent was definitely not his
       mother or food. But it was still some kind of attention, and
       that was better than nothing. He lifted his head and let out a
       few loud mews to make sure he wasn't ignored.
