LOOK ALIVE, SUNSHINE / birthing thread, open

Fae had borne five kits, many of different sizes and colors. Now
came time to name them; the most difficult part, in her opinion.
As she gazed at the firstborn, who was also the largest of them,
she decided, "You're name is Toughkit." Her gaze turned to the
next one; a red tabby with a white van pattern. The color
reminded her of fire; therefore... "Firekit," she decided. Third
to be born was a cream colored kitten, and she seemed as if she
was trying to hide from the world, tiny and skinny. "Bravekit,"
she decided, going with irony. The fourth was a tortie, and had
green color in her eyes. "Marigoldkit," she told the kitten, as
the pattern of this child's fur reminded her of a marigold
flower. Her eyes finally went to the smallest out of them, a
very frail child who was already crawling around trying to
nurse. "Pansykit," she eventually said, turning the insult the
father had thrown at her into a sweet name for the kitten. She
began to groom Pansykit, who finally made it to her and began to
nurse from her.
( so after the birthing thread, all five will have collars with
their name on a tag, and the back of the tag will say 'return to
morilec' or 'return to fae' depending on which parent they are
staying with )
( the collars are pure leather bc fae thinks her babies only
deserve the best )
( tough has teal, fire has blue, brave has purple, marigold has
orange, pansy has pink )

[font=times new roman]Mythseeker was nearby, having helped Fae
deliver the little ones. His tired gaze seemed a bit brighter as
he watched the newborns wriggle about. He gently moved the cream
kit, Bravekit, out of hiding so she could nurse along with her
siblings.
Bravekit was born scared it seemed, as she cried out a little
mewl when Mythseeker just barely touched her, making the adult
recoil his paw.[/font][/td][/tr][/table]

( also, the warrior names are up to you or the leader of your
clan! it's your choice which one to go thru with!! just keep the
root part of the name!! )
Toughkit, despite her large size, found herself easily pushed by
her slightly younger siblings. She didn't let it get to her,
though. She just suckled, quietly.

The newly named Marigoldkit was already crawling around,
kneading at her mother's stomach with tiny paws.

A soft smile crossed Fae's face, and she looked up at
Mythseeker. "Thank you," she said to him, grateful for his help.
Fae then brought her gaze back to the kittens. She began to
groom Bravekit, trying to get her used to the feel of touching
someone else.
Pansykit let out a jealous kitten-growl as the tongue left him,
pushing towards whichever kitten happened to be beside him.
Despite his small size, the kitten was going to find whoever
took the attention from him and take it back(if he could).

Scrawny Firekit wriggled around in search of a meal. He eagerly
attempted to push through the crowd of littermates to reach his
mother, already filled with determination, and hunger.

as he turned slightly.
"I.. I will be outside if you need anything.."
The tortoiseshell left her with her kittens after saying that.
Bravekit wailed still, but soon managed to calm down after a
while of her mother's grooming. The little she-kit then started
her cries again when she felt Pansykit push her a bit, and she
desperately tried to wiggle away and hide away against her
mother.[/font][/td][/tr][/table]

A soft sigh escaped her. She used her tail to wrap around
Bravekit, making sure to keep it near her to protect her from
the kittens and her her used to it. She pulled Pansykit close
with one paw and held him there, and then move don to grooming
Marigoldkit. "Hush, Mari," she murmured, not fully listening as
Mythkeeper left but knowing he did so.
