Duskstar was at the border, her paws on fire and amber eyes
narrowed. She was awaiting the arrival of the PlasmaClan leader
who had decided the rational way to settle an alliance drop was
to kidnap her daughter.

Mystic walked over, and rolled her eyes. "Ohh, firey paws, so
scary. I feel threatened," She snorted. "What do you want,
hot-paws? Have you come to bring your damsel-in-distress home?"

herself. She closed her eyes briefly, trying to calm herself
down. For the most part, it worked. Her paws now only glowed,
like embers.

her."

He had put Brandy in charge of speaking with Duskstar, but that
didn't mean he was going to do nothing. The tom shifted into a
body of a bulldog and changed his personality. Basically, he
disguised himself as a NPC who came over curiously.
"M-Mysticwater! Who's... Who's dis?" he purposely slobbered a
bit too much and forced a lisp.

She rolled her eyes. "This is the cat that Brandy was supposed
to be talking to, not me." She muttered. Turning her gaze back
to the she-cat, the added, "I'm gonna have you wait here. No
questions will be asked nor answered until Brandy shows up."

Duskstar nodded, knowing nothing good would come if she threw a
fit. "Please, get them here as soon as possible," she meowed
politely.

"I'm Brandy. Sorry to keep you waiting," the brown tabby said
sincerely, walking past her two clanmates and approaching the
leader. The defeated look on her face showed her discomfort in
being here. Her stomach twisted just thinking about what she was
going to tell her. Honestly, she wasn't exactly sure what she
was supposed to say, but she figured it was along the lines of
'Be our friend and you can have your daughter back!! Don't
worry, we almost starved her.'

Its not even that he wanted to be friends. He just wanted to
know why he was dropped. Was it alliance clashes? Or something
they just wanted? The male flicked his folded ear as he sent a
telepathic message to his Clanmates. [I]Show her Windflight.
Don't let them talk. Ask why the alliance was dropped, and if
there's any way to make it up. I doubt there is, but its worth a
shot.[/I] he licked back up the slobber that was dribbling from
his mouth.
