[center]Davvie slunk along the mountain path quietly, His large
golden eyes staring ahead of him much like two swirling pools of
amber, molten in two small orbs. The Marble Fox's head snapped
up as he heard a sound, and let out a yelp as sharp claws
dragged bits skin off of his shoulder. The fox stood up and ran,
darting through a copse of rocks and disappearing into his small
fox den. He grumbled slightly and picked up a dead hare he had
collected earlier and loped into the main chamber that was now
decorated with bones dyed all colors with berries. He settled to
a lay in the center and began to chew the hare to bits, eying
the root enforced ceiling before he trotted over to the small
underwater stream in the largest tunnel of all; not to mention
the deepest and the safest.[/center]

Briar, a dark ginger she-cat, scented the fox, and began to
creep up to the scent with unseathed claws.

[center]Davvie heard the cat and smirked, turning and stalking
through the tunnels until he came face to face with her, his
handsome black and white muzzle pressed up against her pretty
ginger one with a grin. "Heya Darlin', what ya doin' in my den?"
he growled sweetly in his odd accent, his breath surprising only
smelling of mint. Well, he had varied tastes. The black and
white fox backed up a bit to give her some space. "Did I scare
ya for a moment there, Sweet'art?" he said, sitting back on his
haunches and wagging his tail slightly though the dirt.[/center]

Briar paused. Did.. did this fox... No, She thought, the fox
couldn't possibly like a cat. "Im not in your den, and im
leaving right now if you want me to."

Davvie blinked at her gently and shrugged. "Well, Y'a don't have
to go now, If y'er needing a rest." he whined, turning and
heading deeper into the den. It smelled of different kinds of
collected plants in each chamber, as if he knew foxes didn't
have the nicest smell in the world. The black and white fox was
swift and cheerful, his orange eyes glancing back to see if she
had followed or not. He would be rather disappointed if she
hadn't, but he would deal with it.
And I don't want the world to see me
'Cause I don't think that they'd understand
When everything's made to be broken
I just want you to know who I am

The shecat froze. She didnt trust the fox, but she was tired,
and she had no choice. She padded into the dark den, then
slumped down into a nest.

Davvie smiled when she picked a nest he had made a few days ago
and set about tidying up a little, taking bones of rabbits and
such down a tunnel into a crypt-like area, seemingly decorated
with the skulls and bright berry paints. True, Davvie seemed a
bit queer next to most others. The fox was humming a soft tune
as he dissipated into chamber one could only assume was a
larder from the smell of meat and berries curling up from it. He
emerged a while later with an old two-leg bowl of fresh water
and a hare. "Here, if you're hungry." He said, wandering off
into a dark tunnel to collect glow-worms for night.

Briar ate a bit of the hare but pushed the twoleg thing away.
"You have puppies in your stomache if you think im going to
drink out of a bowl from twolegs." she muttered.

Davvie brought up several of the glowing creatures in his mouth
and set about sticking them to the roof with cobwebs. The black
and white fox noted she had not drank any water with a humorous
smile. "I see you're not thirsty?" he said, brushing his large
bushy tail over the ground absently in a slow wagging motion as
he pressed another bug onto the ceiling.
