Lavenderstorm woke up, her eyes glancing around. She padded out
of her den, smiling at the sun.

Bucky was still half asleep where he had fallen asleep last
night. He had been up later finishing up a patrol, and had
decided to just sleep just inside the camp. Now, he regretted
not going back to where her normally slept and getting
comfortable there. The feline finally stood up, a small yawn
escaping him. He immediately set to work cleaning his fur,
spending the time to make it as immaculate as he could. This
usually took him a while each morning, however, so he would
likely be here for a long time yet.

It didn't take long for Streampool to be up and about, her fur
already combed neatly back. There was a whole day ahead of them
all, and then a night after that. Plus, she was leader of war,
not that her name would show that. She didn't believe in
StarClan. If they were real, then her job wouldn't have to
exist. But look where they were now.

After a couple of minutes passed, he finally stopped.
Eventually, he stood up, taking his time to stretch. Though he
was very vain about his appearance, he also wanted to be
comfortable. When he straightened back out, he glanced over at
the other leader and grinned. "Heya, Pool!" he called over to
her.

"Hmm?" she turned to the other leader before putting on a small
smile. "Oh, Bucky. You're up early." she giggled. Rae had no
muse for her. Only for death.

Melodywhispers padded out of her cabin, yawning. She climbed
down the great oak tree to where the main camp was.

"Yeah, fell asleep in an... odd place. Got back to camp late,
too tired to get to my bed," he explained, a long, drawn out
yawn following it.

She deiced she'd try to chat along with them, although she'd
leave if she felt she had intruded on something. "Hello," she
greeted warmly, her whiskers twitching. "Fine morning we're
having?" It was one of the brightest mornings she had seen, but
then again Melodywhispers wasn't that old.

Lavenderstorm jumped into the conversation. "I agree!" She mewed
happily. She flicked her ear and began to groom herself but
still listening to the talking.
