Center was sitting the the nursery, two kits sucking at their
stomach. They looked around, and tried to call for someone, but
let out a messed up scream. Maybe someone would come to that?

The as-of-yet unnamed kitten was curled up close to her mother,
nursing from her. Her black paws were pulled up close to her
body, trying to make herself as small as possible against her
mother to keep herself warm.

It wasn't the scream Gingersplash answered to. It was the smell.
Yeah, until they got someone to fix that, Gingersplash would not
breath through his nose. That was when he saw her and the kits.
"Center..." was all he could manage. The tom crouched down by
his kits and their mother. "They're beautiful," he meowed,
tearing up.

mother's warmth.

Center stared down at the kits in joy. She tried to grab her
notebook, but couldn't without moving the kits. So She began to
lick the toms small head with her tongue.

The young tom let out a squeak, the gray stripes on his back
began to shift colors. From grey, to green, to purple, and back
again.

One of the kittens was stumbling around, letting out feeble
cries
Fallenfire ran into the nursery. "Is everything alright in here?
I heard the scream, I-" she paused, staring at the kittens. The
panic in her gaze transitioned into warmth as she gazed over the
bundles of fur.
