Berryflight climbed onto the highrock as gracefully as she could
manage, then she balanced herself on top of the boulder's flat
surface. She felt so high and mighty all the way up here, but
honestly, she did not enjoy the feeling. The shaman straightened
herself and cleared her throat. "Erm, everyone! Gather for a
meeting!" she called out, although it was quieter and much less
confident than she anticipated.

Mazey walked over. The shaman assistant knew what this day was
for. She had groomed her fur well, but it seemed to curl itself.

Greeklyre, Hallowspaw, and Stygianflare waited to see what
Berryflight had to say.
Firework was surprised to see her up there, as she hadn't spoken
to him about any announcements she needed to make. However, he
settled back to hear what she would say.

Teddypaw, Toothpaw, and all Dawny's other characters gathered.
Berryflight looked over the small, gathering crowd. She caught
Firework's look of surprise and interest. Should she have asked
first? Would he be mad because- No. Stop that. She was the
shaman of the tribe. She could do whatever she wanted. That's
right. She nodded affirmingly to herself and held her head high.
"Today I would like to address a couple of things. First,
Mazedpaw, please step forward," she announced, her voice being
clearer this time.

Firework continued to watch, seeing how she seemed to hesitate
and regain her posture. A grin appeared that he quickly pushed

Berryflight smiled at Mazedpaw as she stepped up. She hadn't
been mentoring her for very long, nor did she really have to.
The shaman assistant was already well-trained, not to mention
smart and worked well on her own. She wasn't sure how long she
had actually been waiting for this moment, but either way, she
knew that she deserved it. "Mazedpaw, you have trained hard for
many moons, and you have cared for RainClan and our Tribe with
great skill, patience, and endurance even with many of the
troubles going on around you. I am proud to give you your new
name, Mazeconfuse. May you continue to heal others and guide
them through their sufferings."

The newly named shaman revealed a dorky grin and ducked her
head. "Thank you, Berryflight." She blinked, then looked around,
letting her gaze land on Pheo. She gave her former mentor a
grateful nod

Stygianflare watched, a soft smile on her face. After all, she
had also trained Mazey, and it was nice seeing her finally
promoted.
