turned to Emi in a quiet voice. "I know how you feel. I was left
to die too. It's hard, but I pulled through. You will too. My
daddy Cloudfur and Mommy Duskstar will love you like they do
me." She mewed, talking of her adopted parents as her real
parents. "I know it."

Emi chuckled.
"Well I know what to look forward to," she said lightheartedly.
The she cat then chuckled, looking at the kit.
She was about the age of a warrior, about 10 moons as such.

The young kit grinned, her eyes closing. "Don't you worry
child.." She murmured under her breath as she sung to herself.

Emi blinked, realizing how old she really was.
She sometimes forgotten how long she's been out of her clan.
Emi was old enough to become a youngish/seniorish warrior, but
wasn't old enough for the elders den.
She blinked as she entered the camp, looking at the cats In the
small camp.
She felt watched, not welcomed.
