Emberpaw finished the last bit of meat he could find, licking
his lips and lifting his head to look at the others. This was
much too quiet, yet they didn't seem to find it awkward. Was
sitting in silence just a loner thing? He didn't like it.
Silence made him think, and after everything that happened,
thinking was the last thing he wanted to do. "So, ladies," he
started, sitting up. "you both look like you've been around. I'm
sure you've got some good stories to tell." He showed a small,
hopeful grin.

began to explain. "I've never been one for clan life though. I
just like to live it my way." She explained and smiled. "What

She stopped. "Hey, don't take this the wrong way, but I'm
adopted. We don't actually share any blood." The white she-cat
explained. "So I'm not even related to the clans at all." She
then continued.
