He blinked. Nine had meant it as a joke. Did the young tom love

Coco had rounded the corner, although she acknowledged there
were other cats and a fox(?!), her gaze immediately went to
Nine. She had started to talk toward them. "Hey, Nine." She said
with a smile on her face.

Jack took a step back listening to the two toms have a rather
strange and random interaction that he didn't completely
understand. As far as he could tell, Nine was definitely hiding
something and Wavepaw was just a poor little fella in love. That
he took from the way his face lit up when he saw Frisk enter the
scene. Though he did seem very excitable anyway, and that could
just be who he was. Ah yes, studying cats was quite a fun
pastime. The fox then noticed another she-cat cat walking over
and he dipped her head to her. She didn't seem to be interested
in speaking to him anytime soon, however, as her interest was
only in one particular character.
