He kept his mouth shut, a mysterious smile on his muzzle. The
feline left the den, heading out into the territory, following a
not-very-worn trail. Hopefully nothing had been messed up before
he could get there by an npc or some wild creature.

"Firework! C'mon, what is it??" Berryflight laughed, quickly
following after him. She soon fell into the same pace beside him
and relaxed, though her features seemed eager and curious to
find out what he was hiding.

A grin remained on his features as he came to a stop at a place
he had come across during his exploring of the territory. It was
what seemed like an oasis, with lush green grass covering the
ground they stood upon. Flowers bloomed throughout the meadow,
interrupted only by a flowing river. Set beside the river was a
blanket he had found and spread out. Beside it was a large box,
with a much smaller box sitting beside it. Stopping beside the
blanket, he gestured for her to sit down, a glint in his eyes.

Berryflight slowed down beside him as she felt the atmosphere
change suddenly. The beautiful and serene haven took her breath
away. Everything felt warm, welcoming; it was almost perfect,
and that was something she had not laid her eyes upon in a long
time. Besides the Tribe leader, of course. "Wow...This place is
beautiful," she said, looking around in awe. She had no idea
this place existed so close to them, but the territory was still
very new to her so it wasn't too much of a surprise that she
didn't know. Then her eyes drifted to the blanket spread out on
the ground beside the rushing water and she immediately grinned,
more so than before. "You did not," she laughed, turning back to
him. She watched him gesture for her to take a seat and she
obliged, a big smile on her face. "You've been busy running a
Clan, huh?" she teased.

"Hey, that's true!" he complained, but a happy little grin was
on his maw. "I just... may or may not have stayed up the last
few nights to get this ready." With that, the pulled the larger
box close. He opened it, glancing over at her for a second
before pulling out the two medium boxes inside it. He had found
a few things, beautiful things, and they reminded him of her.
That had caused him to want to give them to her. First, he
pushed the smaller of the two towards her. Inside the larger
would be a necklace, and inside the smaller a gemstone, one of
moonstone.

"Oh Firework, you didn't have to do that. No wonder you're so
tired! You..you.." Berryflight trailed off, her eyes dropping to
the small box offered to her. She slowly smiled again, curiosity
and excitement returning to her bright blue gaze. "What is this?
Is this..for me?" She looked up at him as if he would give away
the surprise so easily, then down at the box. The medicine cat
used her careful paws to open the first case, and she gasped at
the sight. "Oh my stars, Fire this is...so pretty," she laughed,
studying the gem for a few moments before gazing up at him.
"Where did you- how did you even find this?" she asked, although
that wasn't really what she wanted to say. She wasn't expecting
this, any of this, at all, and she couldn't find the right words
to say.

"I... Well, I had been wandering, and decided eventually to go
for a short swim. And so, I accidentally found a small little
island, and noticed something in the sand. I dug it up, and as
soon as I saw what it was it reminded me of you. Because... it
seems so simple at first, but once you look closer..." He tilted
the gem slightly, so the sunlight would hit it in a way that
revealed the blue and green shimmering. "You can see it's beauty
within." Oh, was that too cheesy? Fuck, that was too cheesy.
Time to move on. A little sheepish smile on his maw, he pulled
the second box closer, pushing it towards her.
