Windkit padded up to the riverbend, her eyes on the water. The
young kit stuck her paw in, then pulled it out. "Ooh! Cold!" She
mewed and smiled, bending over to get a drink, but her short
body couldn't reach the water, which was lower then normal
today. She bent over more, o-most falling in, still not being
able to reach. "Rats!" She mewed, sitting down.

[Font=Georgia]Cloverkit, spying the other kitten's predicament,
could not suppress a giggle. The tinkling laugh fell from her
lips, a quiet noise in the crisp air. Clearly Windkit was in
need of assistance, and Clove though she might have the solution
to the problem. Taking a deep breath, ths ivory kitten rose on
her tiny feet and strolled steadily towards her clanmate.
[B]"Um, hi."[/b] She greeted timidly, smiling down at the
ground. [B]"Need some help?"[/b] She inquired, amusement clear
in her tone. Silently, she strolled farther down the bank,
finding a smooth stone jutting from the chilly waves. With all
the grace of her big cat ancestor, she lept from the bank and
landed softly on the rock. She bent her muzzle, taking a long
drink before turning her sea blue gaze back on Windkit.

Cloudedfur watched the interaction from a distance, as the
mixture was meant to be a disaster. Two kits, a roaring river.
If he didn't act fast, someone could die, and he wasn't going to
let that happen.

She looked back at her mother. "Yes mama.." She trailed, her
mouth still dry and waterless. "I'm thirsty though!" She mewed
and sighed, turning around.

Duskstar climbed one of the trees with bigger leaves. She
plucked one carefully from a branch and brought it down to her
kit, making sure not to make any large holes in it.
Duskstar padded over to the waters and dipped the leaf in,
holding the edges up. She took the leaf, which was mostly full
of water, and gave it to Windkit, still holding the edges up.
[b]"The water's leaking, so don't wait too long to finish it
off."[/font][/left][/td]

"Yes mama.." She mewed as she replied to her stern mew. She then
began to drink the leaf water and smiled. "mm..Milk is better
though!" She stated, giggling.
