able to meet her eyes. He had hurt her so many times... He was
on the path to do the same to Duskstar, too. It was a never
ending cycle with him, wasn't it. "Look, I'm a terrible tom. I
don't deserve anything, unless if it involves pain and
suffering." he frowned. "Is that what you wanted to hear?" he
gulped and, with all the moxy he could muster, he began to try
and sweet talk her.
"Candy, you know, I never stopped thinking about you." not
wrong. "You were always on my mind. And those kits... Oh, I'm so
sorry, Candy. I really am a worthless father. I already know."
he attempted to take her paw and, if successful, kiss it.

putting on a small smile. He didn't see Duskstar, sadly, or he
would've felt conflicted.

She refused to smile back. Not yet. No, she couldn't forgive him
so easily. "Could you show me around," she asked, trying to
change the topic. Hopefully, Mythseeker would offer, but if
Cloudedfur offered she supposed she couldn't just say no, as
that would be rude.
