He looked around, and eventually, he conveniently found some old
chalkboards. Placing them down, he took the piece of chalk and
began to write on one, spelling out

The smile widened. For the first time in a while, he was
genuinely happy to be spending time with someone. He wanted to
lean forward, and... No. He couldn't. Cloudedfur wouldn't like
him anymore. But he saw how Duskstar looked at him... That
settled his thoughts. Still unsure, he very quickly leaned
forward and kissed him, pulling away a few seconds later and
taking a few steps back, ears flattening against his head.

shit. He kissed back, but pulled away as soon as he could. "I..

ignore it. It never happened. You never liked it. Just keep

"You're welcome," Somnus said simply, smile growing. He wasn't
just happy. No, he was ecstatic. Even if he was ignoring the
fact that it happened, Cloudedfur had kissed him back. He was
excited. This was definitely progress!

"Okay," the feline said breezily, grinning. He wasn't focusing
on his trying to get away, and more so on what had just
happened. Hopefully Duskstar hadn't gotten to him yet, because
he had just kissed him, and he wasn't going to give him up
easily now.
