we dont believe what's on tv [o; power discovery]

jynx was wandering around the edge of camp, surprise surprise.
she was following after a butterfly, lashing her paws out to
grab it. as it flew up next to a tree, she frowned,
disappointed. jynx circled around the tree, calling up to the
butterfly. "cmonnnn, thats no fun.." she complained. huffing,
she jumped at the tree, batting her front paws against it. she
paused, hearing an eerie screech of a large branch breaking. she
looked up, fur rising as the branch came hurtling down. she let
out a screech; but said screech sounded like the creeking of the
breaking branch. she covered her mouth and stumbled back, dizzy.

That was her baby. She knew it. Oh, no. "JYNX!" Angelic stood
up, almost immediately, and rushed to try and find her daughter.
"Jynx, baby, where are you?"

She whimpered, stuttering, before calling back with an eagle's
screech. She covered her ears, shrinking against a rock. Was
that her? That couldn' have been her.. but it was

Angelic skidded to a stop at the noise. "No... no, not my baby."
she cried, looking around. Luckily for her, Jynx was right
there, a broken branch near her. "Jynx!" she tumbled over,
nearly barreling into her daughter. [b]"Baby, are you okay?"

She nodded, flattening her ears. She shivered; still shocked by
the noises. "Mama, I sound like an eagle." She complained, fur
standing on end

She sighed, turning back to her adopted child. "Alright, Jynx.
Lemme hear your best eagle screech." she mewed, deciding to
humor her daughter.
