The un-named kit ventured forward, her wide blue eyes full of
curiosity. Blinking them, the kitten froze in shock. Was this
a... a clan, what she'd been told about by her parents?
Her.. Parents..
Closing her eyes and stifling tears at their memory, she could
only helplessly watch as she relived it.

Thunder crashed overhead as her mother faced off against the
wolf. Her father, anger flashing across his maw, jumped forward
and clawed the wolf, giving the mother just enough time to turn
around and murmur something to the kitten.
"My dear little Angel, I ask that you be given the way of the
wings so as to reach a single clan, no matter which. Any will
help you, Angel. Tell them-"
And it was cut off by a low growl, a gurgle from her mom's
throat, and the look in her eyes as they went blank.
Then Angel passed out.[/I]
So that was her name, Angel? She didn't feel like one. Both her
parents, dead. Killed by a wolf. Right in front of her eyes.
Whimpering, the kitten limped forward. Her right hind leg had
been nipped by the wolf.
She was lucky that was all that happened to her.
However, it had been twisted around, making it impossible to
walk on. Her vision faded as she wobbled, then fell.
And all went black.

Sweetbreeze, a new warrior, bounded up to Angel. "Oh poor
THING!! Just LOOK at the leg!! It must HURT!! Oh my.. oh MY! We
need to get you to the medicine cat as SOON as POSSIBLE!!" She
shreaked. She grabbed Angel by the scruff, quite harsh and
quick, and dashes to the medicine cat's den.

The quick, jagged movements of the older cat jarred the kit back
into consciousness. Unsure of what was happening, the kitten
whimpered softly as she felt herself bounce around.
Her blue eyes wide open and full of confusion, the kitten curled
her tail under so it nearly tickled her stomach, an instinctive
pose.
"Sir, sir, if this is-is about my-my leg, it's been that way for
d-days, since my parents were.. Were.."
Sobbing even more at the memory, she tried to wipe away the
tears.

"Woah, Sweetbreeze! Slow down!" The leader chuckled quietly,
placing herself down on the ground. "Tell me what happened."
Shootingstar demanded from her warrior.

Angel, who just hung limply from her captor's jaws, waited
patiently for whatever he was about to say. It came back to her,
then, about the scent of the terror she had passed out near. It
was on these cats.
Her right hindleg, twisted from the wolf for days, had no
feeling at all anymore. It was a useless appendage, just as
useless as a second tail- more, even.
However, there was no immediate danger of infection, as she
could still move it, albeit only slightly.

(Sweetbreeze is a she c:) "Oh!! The poor thing is hurt!!
I can't leave it sit there without doing a thing!!" She said to
her leader, gently placing the kit on the ground. "It's poor
LEG!! It is all.. Twisted!!" She began gently cleaning the kit.

Angel shied away from the warrior, holding her twisted leg up so
she could move more easily.
"It's been that way... For a while. Ever since my momma and
dadda were killed by the wolf. Maybe a few d-days, from what I
think. I dunno, though. Do.. Do you live in a, a 'clan'? My
momma told me to find the clans, that they would help me. Right
before.."
She winced at the thought, blue eyes averted down to the ground
in sorrow.

Shootingstar gave a nod to her warrior. "Can you fetch me some
vines and a stick?" She questioned, tufning to the kit again.
"You've come to the right place, love."

Sweetbreeze let out a wail of pity for the kit. "Poor little

Angel looked up at the two friendly cats that had been talking
to her.
"You're... You're not going to make it hurt, are you? It hasn't
hurt for a while. I try to move it but I can't... B-besides,
it'll help if someone's trying to attack me f-from behind,
r-right?"
Her blue eyes widened, and she curled her tail around the leg.
Angel didn't have a good background with pain- it'd hurt enough
for it to be twisted this way, but back..? That seemed like it
would hurt a whole lot more...
ooc;;
Could her leg not be re-set? It's twisted so it's facing the
exact opposite of the way it was, basically on the verge of
being ripped off if the wolf had pulled it any further. I have a
plot for later on, regarding the leg, though. :3
