our brains are sick [joining] but that's okay
By: Jstar Date: March 29, 2016, 6:14 am

A small grey she-cat appeared at the border. Her pelt was
mottled with brown and light grey spots, which ended at the tip
of her short tail, and her eyes were a striking green. Despite
her size being small, the she-cat carried a daring look, as if
challenging anyone who got in her way.
She didn't know exactly why she was here. All she knew, was that
she was a loner; or, rogue, as the clans would have dubbed her.
She was a 'rogue', who just so happened to lurk behind the Clans
after the tornado striked. But, where else could she go? Her den
was destroyed; and the prey, she decided, would have been gone
for days. So now, here she is, deciding that she didn't want to
live alone anymore. Living in a group couldn't be any harm,
right?

"Hello," Duskstar greeted her. "It
would seem that you have found EchoClan territory, the thin part
at least. Please state your name, business and be ready for
follow up questions," the leader meowed, standing up straight
and trying to look formal.
Duskstar scanned the area, her amber eyes slightly narrowed. The
brown tabby relaxed when she realized no other outsiders were
with this currently nameless she.

She stretched, as if preparing to take a nap. "The name's Moki,
and I wish to join your uh.. Clan." She replied, sitting down.
She perked her ears. What other questions could this cat want?
She flicked her tail and followed the leader's uneasy gaze. It
irritated her that the leader would think that Moki would plot
an attack, or something like that, but she didn't dare turn
back.

"Well Moki," Duskstar meowed, a small
smile forming on her maw, "what are your Sun and Moon Signs? The
brown tabby flicked her tail.
It wasn't that she wasn't happy with new members, she really
was, but in this world you never know who you can trust. With a
Clan as new and small as EchoClan, Duskstar couldn't afford to
take any risks. She hoped Moki understood that and didn't think
badly of her.

"Sun and Moon signs.." She echoed, clueless. They sounded
familiar. She had heard rogues and loners talking about it, but
she didn't care to listen. She regretted that now.

"Okay, what is the date
and time of your birth?" Duskstar asked, trying to hide her
annoyance. She simply bite her lip and flicked her tail.

She yawned "I'd say sometime near the beginning of November. Not
sure exactly what time though." She scratched her ear

Duskstar nodded. "I'll just make up
a time, she told her, flicking her tail. Early November...
November 10th would have to do it. She thought about it for a
moment.
Who had created the world on November 10th... "Oh, I've got it!
Your sun sign is Scorpio. Your moon sign is Pisces," Duskstar
meowed with a smile. "I have a feeling you are going to be a
very interesting cat to work with. Scorpio and Pisces. You have
great potential, I just know it," she complimented with a smile.
Duskstar had never heard of a cat with such contradicting sun
and moon signs. The thought just made her excited for the
future. Thank you Leo! You have given EchoClan a very
powerful member! Duskstar prayed to her sun god, Leo.
Duskstar was very proud of her sun sign. Leo was the leader of
the gods as the lion was the king of the jungle. She felt that
the influence of Leo was what got her in her leadership
position. Most outsiders found the EchoClan beliefs silly.
Duskstar disrespected such cats.

She nodded slowly, flicking her tail. "So, I can join, then?"
