Welcome to EchoClan! This guide is still a huge WIP, so be
prepared for frequent updates!

Religion::
EchoClanners do not believe in StarClan. Instead, they worship a
set of twelve gods and goddess. The gods and goddess are sorted
by the elements they rule over.
Fire: Aries, Leo and Sagittarius. Aries is a ram, Leo is a lion
and Sagittarius is a horse.
Water: Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces. Cancer is a crab, Scorpio is
a scorpion and Pisces are twim fish.
Earth: Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn. Taurus is a bull, Virgo is a
wolf and Capricorn is a goat.
Water: Gemini, Libra and Aquarius. Gemini is an eagle, Libra is
a cobra and Aquarius is a dolphin.
EchoClanners believe that these twelve gods and goddess each
took over periods of time and each gave the world a different
blessing. These blessing are yet to be discovered. Every
EchoClanner is required to know both their star/moon sign and
their sun sign. EchoClanners also follow the traditional
calendar months.
EchoClan is a very free place. Although the twelve gods and
goddess are the traditional religion, all members are free to
worship whatever and whoever they like, as long as it doesn't
interfere with EchoClan laws or processes. Such as some
religions or gods may want you to kill all nonbelievers. Yeah...
don't do that.
[b]Laws and Traditions::
[b]Laws;;
1. Spies and traitors must be brought directly to the leader if
found out. Trespassers are okay only if they're joining.
2. Harassing semi/non/hps will result in punishment such as
demotion to a rank lower to yours. This goes to anyone.
3. Murdering / raping those from allying, neutral, or our own
clan is looked down upon, and will have a number of
consequences.
4. We have an auto acceptance policy that allows any member to
accept a joiner, whether age or rank.
5. The leader cannot pass a new law without the majority of The
Council agreeing.
6. Respect those above you and follow orders at all costs.
7. Never disrespect the twelve gods and goddess and know both
your Star and Moon sign. (Star/Sun signs and Moon signs are NOT
the same thing!)
Traditions;;
All ceremonies are considered traditions. They are not to be
taken lightly by any member of any age.
Marriage;;
The leader will bring the couple to the Lover's Rock with a
group of the bride and groom's closest family and friends. The
Clan is allowed to watch in the trees above while the ceremony
will take place on the Lover's Rock. There, the couples will say
the vows. Before the ceremony even takes place or is even
planned, however, the leader will ask about the couple's
Star/Sun signs. If the signs do not get along well, the couple
will not be allowed to wed.
After the ceremony, the entire Clan celebrates with a huge feast
and a party.
New Comings;;
The ceremony of New Comings if the ceremony to celebrate the
birth of new kits. During this ceremony, the new kits will be
honored by being grated a den in the Holy Tree. They are only
allowed to bring one parent, the first parent they saw when they
opened their eyes. Said parent will take care of the kits for a
quarter moon. After that quarter moon, the kits will move to the
nursery for the rest of their kitship, which differs in time,
depending on the kit's(s') sign. More dependent signs can have a
kitship last as long as ten moons. Independent signs have a
shorter kitship, as short as four moons.
Territory::
A very thick forest. Most parts of the forest floor are so
cluttered that Clan members aren't able to walk on the forest
floor. With that being said, all Clan members must be able to
climb trees and hunt birds. The territory tines out it the edge.
Where the forest floor is thinner, there is a cave with a rock
on the inside that glimmers similar to the Moonstone, expect it
glimmers all the time. The stone is called the Lovers Rock. It
is the place where EchoClan members go to propose
mateship/marriage.
The EchoClan camp is located in the thickest part of the
territory. Trees surround the camp, and in most parts of camp
the canopy is so thick that you can not see the sky. Due to
this, EchoClanners most commonly rely on windows cut from the
trees surrounding the camp for light.
In the center of the camp is a giant tree, the Holy Tree. Each
year in the springtime, the tree starts to grow flower buds. In
the beginning of summer, the buds open into beautiful blue
flowers that seem to glow in direct light. Because light is so
uncommon in the higher part of the EchoClan camp, the glowing
flowers are a very rare and majestic sight. It is rumored that
if the light of the flowers shines down on two animals, they are
destined to be together. Once that happens, their marriage will
be arranged, no questions asked.
Meetings are held at the bottom of the tree in the center of
camp. The leader sits on the tallest root of the tree and the
rest of the Clan gathers around. Most meetings are mandatory,
although there is the occasional meeting that isn't of great
importance. Those meetings are usually about small things, or
just extra information that is nice to know. Things like the
announcement of marriage or new kits. This is not to be confused
with the marriage ceremony or the ceremony to celebrate new
kits. ALL ceremonies are mandatory and are to be respected by
all EchoClanners no matter the age or sign.

History::
As a new Clan, EchoClan has been able to, surprisingly enough,
keep borders secure and has had a very easy and peaceful life.
The first meeting was held and the first ever promotion was
given out: Cloudedfur became Lead Warrior. The next meeting was
held. Promotions were given to Fae, Lead Warrior, and to
Cloudedfur, The Council. The third meeting wasn't as happy. Two
new ranks were added, due to the murder of NPCs
[b]OOC Rules::
1. Be respectful to all of our members! Fighting should be
resolved through pm, and if there is a problem please bring it
to the leader's attention instead of making everyone around you
upset. C:
2. Major plots such as takeovers should be discussed with the
leader's roleplayer.
3. All RW rules apply.
4. If you ever have a problem, private message a leader.
5. We're all friends here, so make sure everyone feels welcome
and apart of the community.
6. Ideas are very supported, so don't be afraid to go to the
leader's den!

[b]Q: Can I join?
Sure! Just make a thread or jump in. Remember, EchoClan is an
open community and everyone is welcomed here with open arms.
Q: Can my character be a high position?
Unless you have adopted out, are co-owning, or temping a high
position, than no - that is, unless you work hard to achieve the
status as a high position. To do that you have to be nice,
active, and have an interesting character. I promise you, nobody
goes unnoticed here.
Q: Can I be an animal other than a cat?
Of course!
Q: Other members are being mean. What do I do?
Private message the current leader's account / roleplayer, and
if you're unable to reach them take it up with EchoClan high
positions.
Q: What are 'cliques'?
Cliques are tightly knit groups inside of a clan or group that
usually don't pay much attention to members outside of their
circle. If you ever see one, tell us and we'll attempt to fix it
the best we can!
