Phoenixfeather observed the new territory with wide eyes, a bit
excited to start a new life here. She looked to Firework, who
they had appointed as their leader on the walk here, and
Wintersnow, the deputy, tail flicking. "Do you guys think that
there are other Clans around here?" she purred, with some
excitement.
"I... I don't doubt it." Wintersnow murmured, ears flattened
against her head. No one here was from AshClan. No one knew what
she had gone through. She was alone. Why hadn't she offed
herself back there? It would've been easier. The new deputy sat
down, and observed the supposed camp, shaking a bit. She, too,
turned to Firework. "Should we send out a few cats to look
for... well, the new Clans? We could give them gifts, and maybe
form some.. Um... you know, gifts. For them.." her voice got
quieter and quieter, ending with a squeak.
Guardianpaw was busy herding his friends, making sure none of
them lagged behind. Clappaw was chuckling and laughing at him,
ear flicking as he purposely stalled a bit.
Angelic was already off, into the camp and into the nursery. She
helped her adopted children out of the basket, and curled around
them to keep them warm. She then lifted her gaze to everyone at
the entrance, watching, and waiting for them to come join her in
their cozy new home.
Serendipity had her fur fluffed out, not entirely trusting
everyone here. Still, she had perked up when she heard of
meeting the other Clans. "I can go out!" she squeaked, forcing a
grin.

Mazey walked by her kits and Teddypaw, ears flat. "Even if there
were other Clans, there's no possible way that they'd have the
same code and ranks as us, or share the same ancestors." She
pointed out.
Bumblebee walked with Summerswing??

Firework nodded along to what Wintersnow said. "I'm sure there
are other Clans around, somewhere. We just have to make sure we
aren't intruding on their territory," he commented. As she made
a suggestion, the new leader responded, "That seems like a good
idea, Wintersnow. Maybe you, Serendipity, and Summerswing could
put together some sort of gift basket, or maybe a few. You could
then all go and give them to the other Clans as a sort of...
peace offering."
Stygianflare looked around, curious as to where they would be
living from now on. It seemed like a relatively nice place, and
so she was happy with it, despite wanting to grieve for all
their fallen friends. She looked over at Phoenixfeather with a
half smile, forcing the thoughts out of her mind.
Hallowspaw smiled at Clappaw's purposeful stalling, knowing he
was doing it because of Guardianpaw. "G-Guar, I think we're
h-here. You don't n-need to herd us anymore." The stutter was
new, as he was much more anxious now after everything that had
happened. But he was also more comfortable talking to everyone
here.
Greeklyre followed along, walking alone behind the others. When
it seemed everyone was coming to a stop, she sat down on her own
still. She didn't like using her telepathy, and she couldn't say
anything, so she thought it better to listen and wait.

Summerswing, uh, I guess wobbled beside Bumblebee, leaning on
him for support. She couldn't walk on her back leg at all, but
walking with three legs wasn't as hard as it seemed. As long as
she was constantly given medicine to mask the pain, she was
fine. She'd survive. She wasn't one to complain unless she was
looking for attention. She had to take a lot of sitting breaks,
though, because even with the painkillers, the pain came back if
she moved it around too much. Summer frowned when Firework
mentioned her helping out with the gift basket, which she didn't
mind. The traveling part could be rather..uncomfortable,
however.
Ashlee sprinted ahead of her friends, just because she was
competitive like that. Guardianpaw seemed a bit shaken and more
protective than usual, but she didn't blame him after what
happened. Hm, I guess his name was Guardian. She never really
thought about it until now, but now that she realized it, it
explained a lot of things. She looked around the place, her long
tail swaying in the air comfortably.
Teddypaw slowed down beside his mate, sitting down and listening
to the older cats' discussion.
Berryflight joined the gathering cats, her eyes shyly glancing
around at the others and then to the ground. She had avoided
Firework most of the trip, since she felt it would be kind of
strange to just suddenly surprise everyone with their
relationship. Obviously, it wouldn't be a problem now, nor would
anyone care. But she wanted to talk with him privately first,
just in case. Besides, she needed time to herself. Normally she
would cling to him when he was around, and just to the thought
of him when he wasn't. And as much as she wanted to just cuddle
with him for days on end, especially after the disaster, she
needed some alone time to grieve.
Toothpaw stood with the rest of his Clan for a few moments while
they spoke, but soon slipped away. He wandered around the new
camp for a bit before walking into the nursery, figuring Angelic
would be waiting there. She was, and she seemed to already be
content and comfortable in their new home. Well, he doubted
anyone here was very happy, but that wasn't the point. "Hey," he
greeted softly, not yet sitting down just in case she was
planning on going to sleep. She was probably tired after all,
after attaching herself to these kittens. "How are they?" he
asked, glancing down at the little furballs hopefully drifting
off to sleep.

( i just realized, berry was a mc and was never in the polls. do
you guys think she should be mc now? stormy is kind of playing
both leader and mc at the moment, which is unfair to us in the
sense that they have two things of power, and unfair to them in
the sense that they might end up stressing twice as much. u feel
)
"Firework, Summerswing is... injured." she looked back at the
warrior, who seemed to be fairing well. "Maybe Bumblebee should
go in her place? Or, at least, with her?" Wintersnow suggested,
gulping a little as she attempted to straighten out, only to
slouch again.
Phoenixfeather purred as she pressed against her girlfriend.
"I don't have to do it anymore, but this is new territory, and -
Ashlee!!" the tom watched as she sped ahead, and felt conflicted
as he could keep Hal and Clap together, or run off and yell at
Ash. The tom sped off, choosing the latter. He grinned as he
launched, aiming to tackle her. Playfully, of course.
Clappaw laughed at Guar, stopping to stretch. He would bother
with exploring the camp in a minute. He actually wanted to help
out his Clan, first. So, he hobbled up to Teddypaw and Mazedpaw,
and offered them a lopsided grin. "Hey, do you two need
anything? Food, a nest...?" he asked, head tipped to the side.
He use his tail to beckon Hal to follow him.
Angelic watched him walk over, a warm smile welcoming itself
onto her face. The small she-cat shifted, hoping to make space
for him to lay down next to her. He had been walking the same
amount of terrain as her, and was maybe holding the basket of
kittens more than her, too. It would be a lie if he said he
wasn't tired, but, then again, she wouldn't press it. "Hey." she
purred in response, looking down at the kits and giving the
black tom a lick on his forehead. "They seem to be okay. I think
I might have to wean them really early, though. There doesn't
seem to be a nursing cat who..." she didn't finish her sentence,
patting the space next to her. [b]"Why don't you rest for a
bit?"

"Right..." he murmured, wondering how he had forgotten about
Summerswing's injury. "Summerswing, you can help with the gifts.
Bumblebee will go instead to deliver the basket, then." Firework
glanced at Berryflight, who seemed as if she didn't want to
speak. He didn't head over, assuming she wanted some time to
herself.
Stygianflare pressed back against her, a small smile on her maw
as she looked over at her.
Hallowspaw smiled, following after Clappaw at a bit of a
distance. He wasn't going to do most of the talking, and he knew
Clappaw would more than make up for that. The ebony feline came
to a stop a few steps behind his friend.

Bumblebee nodded and took the basket, surprised at it's weight.
mazey looked at teddy, before looking back at the
kits/apprentices/whatevertheyare. "I think we should wait to see
exactly what's gonna happen before we start preparing nests."
She murmered.

Summerswing nodded with understanding, and also a bit of relief.
But honestly, she was glad her injury had slipped his mind. At
least they weren't obsessing over her and forcing her to lay
down all the time. This way, she could actually be of help.
Ashlee purred when she heard her name being scolded with
frustration. That made her smile. She turned around to say
something when the young tom bowled into her and tackled her to
the ground. "WAH- Hey! Get off me!" she growled playfully while
struggling to move underneath him, unable to contain her
laughter.
Teddypaw nodded. "What she said, but that's a good idea. I think
you guys could start preparing nests and finding food once we're
done here," he agreed.
Berryflight caught his eyes for a second and her heart skipped a
beat before she pulled away found something else to stare yet.
She hoped he didn't think something was wrong, she wasn't
meaning to suddenly act all anti-social. Well, he wasn't bugging
her about it. Maybe he understood.
Toothpaw smiled a bit more when she offered, but he hesitated
anyway. He wasn't sure why, but he did. He had a lot on his
mind, and his feelings and thoughts were messing with the most
basic of decisions. Because, as you know, being offered to sit
next to your crush was not a hard choice. "Yeah..alright, sure,"
he replied, accepting her suggestion and making his way over to
sit down beside her. "You know I heard the warriors talking.
They think there are possibly other Clans around here, and
they're going to visit them to make peace or something like
that. I don't know, maybe they will find a mother willing to
nurse them. You never know," he said, ending it with a little
shrug.
