[ btw any canine-like animal in the clans would be in this pack.
so wolves, foxes, domestic dogs, et cetera ]
Izabella found herself in the middle of a large prairie. Trees
dotted the landscape and offered little hiding space. She sighed
and looked down at her pup, Keiko, then searched for her other
children. They had been exiled from the Clans, and decided to
whip up a pack in the mean time.
Avril walked after Izzy, her fur fluffed out. She grumbled under
her breath about her blindness and worthlessness to the
situation.

Forrest was with Izzy, sitting beside her quietly. He was
waiting to see who else would show up.
Sherlock sat by his mother, slightly anxious. He wasn't used to
this area, and he didn't like it.
Daie eventually showed up. The yearling had just recently been
accepted into the Clan, and now he was out of it so quickly. It
didn't matter, anyhow. Now, he could stay with these other
canines.

Pepper weaved through the small group, her tail wagging
excitedly. She knew they had left the Clans, and though she
wasn't exactly sure why, she didn't seem to care. All she knew
was that she was no longer stuck in the stuffy nursery. She
slowed down beside her mother, brushing against her much longer
legs.
Viola was mad at first, but over time she had realized she much
preferred life outside the Clans. At least, she thought she
might. Change was still hard, though, especially after getting
kicked out of her birthplace when she did absolutely nothing
wrong.

Sherlock looked over at his sister, wondering how she could be
so okay with this. They had just left everything they had known
up to this point!

Izzy took a deep breath, and looked back at the dogs that
gathered. She observed them, and, with all the authority she
could muster, spoke. "Alright, guys. Here's where we're gonna
live for now, okay? Um... Forrest, can you and... uh..." she
looked at Viola and took in a breath. "Viola, right? Can you two
go out and find a camp? Nothing big. Maybe just a few old fox
dens. I don't know." she shrugged, looking towards Daie and
Avril, thinking. One was pretty young, the other blind.
"Avril and Daie," she called, hoping to whatever higher being
there was that she got the names right. "I need you two to watch
the pups, please? They aren't much. At least, Keiko isn't. They
have domestic dog in them, so really, tell them to sit and they
just might listen." she offered a laugh at her own joke, but
shrugged it off afterwards. "Just keep close to... this tree,
alright? I'll go out and bring something back. Maybe a rabbit or
two, alright?" she gulped, looking at them all as a whole.
"Unless... anyone else have any ideas? Really, I'm open for
anything."

Before Forrest headed off the do as she had asked, he offered
his idea. "We'll need to figure out our ranks, and then figure
out our borders," he suggested, deciding to put it out there
early. He walked over to Viola, waiting for an answer but
preparing to leave.
Daie nodded, heading over to where the pups were.

She nodded in agreement, biting her lip. "Lets... Lets cross
that bridge when we get there. We need a shelter, first."
Avril rolled her blind eyes and followed her nose to the pups.
She bumped into Pepper, sniffing heavily. "Hey, little girl,
whats your name?" she asked.

He nodded in agreement. "Viola, right? We should probably head
out now," he said, looking up at the sky. It was close to
midday. "We want to find something by nightfall."

Viola nodded. "Yes, it is. Alright," she agreed. She looked
around, hoping to spot a cluster of trees or even a slightly
hilly area where dens could be found, but they were on a prairie
and that was pretty rare. Wonderful. She started walking, but
glanced over at Forrest in hopes he would have a plan.
The grayish pup spun around, her tail still whipping like a
propeller. Sort of. "I'm Pepper," she chirped happily. She
concentrated on her face for a few seconds, but couldn't keep
her eyes from wandering. Wow, they were so free and out in the
open. This was awesome. She turned back to Avril. "Wait, what's
your name again?" Yeah, she was a little distracted. The leave
hadn't really hit her yet.

Izzy watched them go. She turned back to her pups and the
others, and offered a small smile before running off herself,
for prey.
Avril started to regret her decision, but continued to follow
through. "My name is Avril." she murmured to the pup. "You seem
pretty excited, Pepper." she said, putting on a small smile.
"You know, I wish I could be as happy as you, but I can't really
see all that well. In fact, I can't see at all." she pouted,
turning away from the pup. "Nope. Nada. See, this is called
being blind. You've heard of that, right?" she continued without
waiting for an answer. [b]"Because of this, I need someone to
see for me. Basically, Pepper, I'm asking you to be my
seeing-eye dog. Can you do that?"
