Chinapaw cautiously wandered far from home, entering kitty-pet
territory. She wanted to prove that she was worthy of being a
warrior, and somehow came up with the idea that she could prove
       that here.

Sassy was, for once, out of her backyard, her yellow eyes
searching for a sign of her sister, Ginger. Her closest friend
had started leaving the house more and more until the gray tabby
barely even saw her anymore. Sassy didn't want her to adventure
into the forest in a first place, and now look where it took
her. Away from home, just like Princess. She frowned and was
about to head back to her safe place behind the fence when she
saw a smaller she-cat making her way into the neighborhood. More
       wild cats?

Chinapaw glanced around in the neighborhood, finding the fencing
a little weird. And the buildings. And the patches of gray dirt.
But, hey, she came here for a reason, and that reason stood a
few feet ahead of her. "Hello." the thin framed she-cat allowed
her voice to get an icy undertone.

Sassy unintentionally glared at the newcomer, cautiously
studying her. She didn't have the slightest idea why these
'clanners' kept showing up. She was kind of curious to find out,
but not enough to get off her bum or ask Ginger about it. And
now Ginger disappeared. "Hello," she replied in her gravelly
voice, not sounding any friendlier than the wild cat in front of
her. "What're doing out here? If you're looking for scraps,
you've come to the wrong house." Not that her humans wouldn't
feed her, she just didn't want any more company or competition.

"I'm well fed, thank you." she growled, not liking the other's
tone. "I came out here to find an opponent." she got to the
point, tail twitching. "I would give you a back story, but I
have a feeling you couldn't care less."

Sassy narrowed her yellow eyes. "Excuse me?" she said, looking
at Chinapaw with suspicion, doubt, and distaste. Did she
just..ask her to fight? She couldn't believe this small, frail
kitten was trying to intimidate her. Those wild cats really were
insane. Sure, she was a kittypet, but she was a full grown
adult, and not a very merciful one at that. But this one was
just a kitten, as far as she could tell, and she had morals.
"That's cute, hun. Maybe you should look for someone your own
       size, hm?"

"Look, I know being challenged by a Clan cat could be scary, but
you don't need to pawn me off on someone else." she scoffed,
eyes rolling. "Why don't you just hop off your pristine high
       horse and battle me?"
