no one ever listens [private]

[ sassy please ]
Foxy shook his head as the sun rose, quickly checking his paws.
No blood. No fur. Great, today is already better. The tom smiled
to himself as he began to trot towards town, hoping to get a bit
of food from the twolegs.

Sassy was resting atop the tall wooden fence surrounding her
small yard, grooming her paws. She caught something in the
corner of her sharp yellow eyes, and she forced them away to
look. A tom covered in scars was entering the village, the sight
of him making her quite queasy and uncomfortable. She didn't
like being uncomfortable. She growled quietly to herself and
looked away, continuing to lick her paw. Maybe the twolegs would
scare him off.

"Hey, you!" the young tom called up to the femme on the fence.
"You live with these twolegs, right? Do you think they'll spare
a bit of those pellets for me?" Foxy tipped his head to the
side, walking forward, towards her.

Great, now it was walking towards her. Sassy returned her gaze
back to the loner, glaring. She hesitated, not really wanting to
waste her time speaking with this filthy creature, then again,
she had a lot of time to waste. Hm, maybe. Can you make yourself
look a little less like a decaying corpse? She held in the mean
comments with all her might. What would Ginger do? Probably
flirt, but besides that. She'd probably help the poor savage.
Ughh. "Depends on who you're asking," she finally meowed back
grudgingly. "My owners might if you look extra sickly. But that
old lady in the pink house across the street will feed anybody."
Or she might kidnap you and never let you escape. Your choice.
She left that part out though. Just for fun.

The tom looked between the two houses, then hopped up onto the
fence and observed Sassy. "Hmm... Well, you don't look very...
thick, one could say. Your owners probably feed you stuff worse
than the normal kittypet food." he chuckled. "So I think I'll
head to the old lady's house. Wish me luck, Skinny~" he purred
as he pounced off the fence.

Sassy flinched slightly when the loner casually leapt onto the
fence. Her fence. The food part was probably true, but she
didn't know anything better than the kittypet food her housefolk
gave her. When he hopped back off the railing to head over to
the catnappers house, she readjusted and hid a cruel smile. Oh
yes. Good luck. She didn't really think about the fact that he
was still a wild cat. He probably wasn't stupid enough to let
someone steal him away so easily. Especially a frail old lady.
But maybe he'd leave her alone then. [s]She didn't really want
him to leave her alone. She had no friends, and life was
boring.[/s]
