She tensed up, slowly turning back around. "What do you want?
I'm trying to patrol my borders, to help my Clan, so I'd
appreciate it if you let me do my job," Secretpaw retorted,
annoyed.

The sudden abrasive reply caught him by surprise. Emberpaw kept
his mouth shut for a few moments, but that was it. Just a few.
But seriously, Emberpaw didn't expect a RainClan cat to be this
salty. Then again, he didn't know many of them personally.
"Whoa, okay. Relax. I'm not trying to keep you from doing your
job," the tom said, who was more likely trying to keep her from
possibly ripping his throat out. "Just hear me out, alright? I'm
positive your Clan's borders will be safe for a couple of
minutes."

She stared for a couple of seconds, slowly exhaling, before
turning fully and sitting down facing him. "Fine. You get five
minutes of my time," she said after a while, wrapping her tail
around her paws.
