I'll just end this part then and continue this OOC just so that
you two can skedaddle and get muse.
As planned, both will be MCAs. Guilt will train both of the
rascals, but do expect him to be harsh, rude, ect and please
don't portray that as me being angry towards your children for
whatever reason. Due to Guilt's teaching methods, he will be
showing the two different sides of the medicine cats to each
apprentice.
Asylum, as the older yet smaller cat, will be taught how to sort
(keeping the poppy seeds on the head to help them survive
longer) and apply herbs (rubbing the mashed dock on a wound).
Aeolus, the assumably stronger one, will be taught how to gather
(nip the stems, roll up the moss and shake out the dirt) and
prepare (chew up the dock into a paste, stretch the cobweb so
that it covers more) them. This way, not only does Guilt not
have to put in twice the effort (which, believe me, he doesn't
want that) he can teach the subjects to one of the two, and
expect that one to pass their knowledge onto their partner. Of
course, both will be taught the use of all herbs (poppy seeds
help w sleep, cobwebs slow bleeding, ect)
So, yes, just like in this thread, you two will depend on one
another. I (and Guilt) should expect that after this post,
Aeolus knows about his topics pretty wells, and knows a bit
about Asylums, and vice versa. You two can work out how you're
going to give info to one another. I would like a thread every
once in a while between the two so I can check progress and see
if Guilt may need to step in and actually teach one the other
side a bit more.
Lets see... what else... Seeing as my activity is wavering, you
two can assume how much your kitty learns every week. Just don't
over do it. And, if someone comes into the medicine den, I will
hope that both kitties will come to the rescue and work
together, as only one should know how to prepare and the other
apply. Of course, as time goes on, they will both learn the
other's side, and become stand alone medicine cats.
I'm doing the teaching this way because I very much dislike when
characters of the same job don't interact. I'm not asking for
your characters to love each other, they can very much hate each
others' guts for all I know. I just want them to have an
understanding for each other and a constant need or want for the
other's help. Guilt isn't going to stick around forever after
these two are fully promoted, so they'll need to know how to
rely on one another.
This way of teaching should be a little more difficult, since
its new to all of us (as far as I know.) If you have any
problems or ideas, suggest them.
