Downpaw was protesting sleep. It was so boring! You just laid
there. Where was the fun in that? The marshmallow-furred
apprentice wanted to go on an adventure. That was a much better
use of nighttime in her opinion. Too bad everyone was asleep.
Too bad for them, that was. Downpaw would have no trouble waking
them up. "Hey all you 'paws! Who wants to go on a night hike??"
she meowed in a moderately loud voice. She couldn't yell at full
volume, she couldn't risk waking the adults. Downpaw started
prodding some of her friends to wake up.

[ im gon' assume that my children are apprentices for this
thread. ill make them apprentices tonight, actually. boom ]
Clappaw yawned and stretched as he was awoken by Downpaw's
voice. He squinted in the dim light, looking towards the she-cat
with a small smile. "That sounds fun." he yawned again, pushing
Guardianpaw off of him and standing up.

Hallowspaw got up tiredly, stretching. "Fine," he muttered,
slowly coming a bit closer.
Desolatepaw was already awake. He wasn't tired that night. He
headed over, smirking.
Bedtimepaw and Secretpaw both were asleep. The two girls were
deep sleepers. It'd take a lot to get them up.

Rivuletkit groaned. She was almost asleep! Well, there was no
way she'd be able to sleep now, so she got up and stretched
silently, then walked over to the apprentices' den to see what
they were doing.
"Awesome!! Just be quiet on the way out so the adults don't hear
us.." Downpaw whispered.

Hearing Downpaw, Ashlee slowly stood up and stretched. She
wasn't even asleep, really. "Ooh, I'm coming!" she purred, a
small smirk was planted on her face as she gathered with the
others.
Pocahontas couldn't sleep. She laid there, staring hopelessly at
the ceiling. She was about to get up herself when she heard the
other apprentice sending out the call. The sleek black she-cat
quickly sat up, excited to get out of this stuffy den.
Unable to sleep through the talking and shuffling, Strawberrypaw
opened her blue eyes and sat up. She decided to go, not wanting
to miss out on anything fun.

"Guardianpaw, get up!" Clappaw pushed his friend over, frowning.
"Ugh why?" he groaned, peering up at them all with one eye. He
let his ear twitch as the others gathered over to Downpaw, and
even caught sight of Rivulet joining them. Okay, wow. The
massive gang is back together. That's... great. The tom stood up
and shook out his fur, glaring in Clappaw's direction. The
one-eyed tom cheekily grinned, pushing his friend along. "Okay
okay I'm going!"
Riverpaw and Thunderpaw stood up in unison, which even they
found a bit creepy. They watched the others, tails lashing
behind them. Neither of them risked talking, in fear that they
would do that in unison as well.
