SUMMER GATHERING

The sun was just beginning to set, finally giving the moon its
time to shine. As the fireball sunk beneath the horizon, the
moon shed its light on the gathering place, bathing it with a
glow. The breeze that drifted through was warm, ruffling the fur
of the cats soon to come. In fact, the night alone was warm, and
it felt nice.
Hissingstar allowed Sibuna and her cats to go in first, then
waited a but before following. She didn't want to travel with
him the whole way, and he didn't want that either. Despite that,
the two pounced onto branches that were pretty close to one
another. Their cats filed in after them, making sure not to
mingle with one another right away.
Night and her Tribe were already present. Though, instead of
sitting on her leaderly branch, the she-cat was down on the
ground, watching her children mingle. She brought them along
this time, not trusting them alone in the camp with the left
over DevilClan and FireClan cats. She wished that she led her
cats to a different Clan after being attacked, but FireClan was
the closest and probably the safest. She and the other leaders
agreed to her leaving way earlier than the others.
Winterpaw led her cats into a gathering area, head hanging low.
She was still embarrassed for retreating so early. She walked
straight to the tree and hopped on the lowest one, hiding in a
bush of leaves.

Petrichor entered the gathering alone. If anyone asked, he could
say he came ahead of his Clan(s). He took one of the spots where
deputies normally sat.

Night glanced over at Petrichor, recognizing him as the tom that
wanted to join a while back. "Hey... uh... Petrichor, right?"
the she-cat turned to him, one of her kits standing in front of
her. Wisteria, the kitten, looked up at the tom that her mother
was talking to, tipping her head to the side.

He dipped his head to her to show she wasn't mistaken. "And
you're Night. We met a while back," Petrichor responded to her.

Firework soon entered with his Clan.
