He nodded in response. When the waiter returned, Sam told them,
"A borgia for me, and some tea and a muffin for the lady,
please." The waiter went off to get it for them

Winter waited until the waiter was gone before she spoke again.
"So... uhm... how about you tell me about yourself?" she asked.

He wasn't really sure what she wanted to know, so he just gave
what he thought of off the top of his head. "Okay, well... I'm
about twenty-eight. I just finished medical school and I'm on my
way to becoming a doctor," he told her.

She allowed her eyes to widen a bit. Twenty eight? He was of
drinking age. That's cool, she guessed. And medical school.
"That's... uh... whats the word..." she bit her lip as she
looked down at the table. "Clever, I think. Very clever of you
to major in medicines and such, and work forward to being a
doctor. It's a great way to set yourself up in life, I
assume..." she murmured, glancing up once again.

He smiled in return, nodding. "It's nice when your interests can
bring you forward in life," was his simple response.

dipped her head as a thanks.

"Yeah, as a matter of fact, I have. I'm currently in a residency
for the next couple of years before I can become a full-on
doctor," he told her, glad she was taking an interest in what he
was saying. "So, do you enjoy working at your father's company?
Well, technically yours now, but that's just the specifics."

"That's cool.. You can make friends and such.." she murmured as
she sipped her tea. "And the company... is a lot of social
work... and there's a lot of decision making.." she chuckled
under her breath and shook her head. "He really should've passed
it down onto my sister, [echoingpaws name]. She's the real
out-there one." she chuckled again, shaking slightly as she bit
into her muffin. [b]"So, uh, what got you into being a doctor?"
