TWO THINGS

1. so i just watched maybe five or six phan videos for the first
time ever yesterday???
but like damn i shipped them before and now i hella ship them
2. please tell me im not the only one who doesn't actively watch
steven universe
i mean im caught up with the times (sort of?) but i never turned
on the tv and actively watched it
i watched a couple of episodes but not all of them
but my insta is p much spammed with it so i got the gist but
like?? still i don't want to be alone

i dunno it just looks like one of those shows that are
overrated?? i mean it looks kinda cute but i see it all over
tumblr and i'm just confused why is it so popular?? teLL ME

mhm i see that you have followed the good route i applaud u

i ship them purely because i ship everything
innocence and hissingfly would make a gr8 couple right
wrong but still its nice to ship
&
the whole reason i didn't start watching it when it started was
because it seemed way to childish for me tbh
but from what i've seen the show does touch on some topics you
wouldn't normally see in a children's show. for example, they
very lightly touch upon homosexuality between the gems but never
confirm it, and then there's a part where one of the gems takes
steven to the place where she was created, becoming vulnerable
when she explains that she was created by "bad gems" and such.
she even goes as far to call herself a parasite, i believe, and
hates herself for it.
i mean i get that the show is still childish in many ways, and
that the fandom blows things out of proportion a lot, but i
still want to give it a chance?? irdk
then there's the fact that nikki minaj voice acts a character
and i want to see that over and over again bc nikki is one of
the many queens

yeah, i agree. i'm not gonna go criticizing it but i don't think
i'm gonna watch it. i've seen a few clips and idk it just weirds
me out
