i can't decide whether you should live or die ( open )

Petrichor was thinking about what he was going to do. RainClan
was one of the last ones left. It, and the MoonTribe. He
couldn't make a decision. He had friends, for once, and in both
groups. His original plan was getting messed up. The small cat
hadn't meant to get attached to anyone or anything, but his mind
kept wandering back to Sunstar and Fallingstar. Sunstar was a
good friend, and he didn't like her in that way, but he found it
entertaining to lead her on. The reason was the other leader,
Fallingstar. Pet didn't want to hurt her. Growling under his
breath, he laid down, covering his muzzle with his paws and
closing his eyes. Ears flat against his head, he lashed his tail
behind him, trying to make up his mind.

Clapkit and Guardiankit were separated for once, the one-eyed
tom taking a nap in the nursery. All the while Gigi was taking a
breath of fresh air and strolling around camp. The young tom had
spotted Petrichor, and debated whether or not to go in and try
to start a conversation with him. He ended up doing so, taking
quick steps to meet the tom. "Hello." he mewed, his voice
beginning to deepen as he matured.

Hearing the kitten, he sighed, letting his paws slide to the
ground and lifting his ears again, tail settling beside him.
"Hello, Guardiankit," he replied, casting a glance at him.

"You seem... tired." Guardiankit murmured, tail flicking. "Is it
all the hunting you've been doing?" He wouldn't blame the tom -
his own generation was a large one, and they currently couldn't
feed themselves, as they were all kits. Hence, the current
warriors probably had to work their hinds off to keep the Clan
well-fed.

"I admit, it is hard to hunt for fourteen kits. But it isn't
that I'm tired. Honestly, I'm stressed. There's a huge decision
I have to make for myself, and I don't know what to do," he
explained to the kitten without telling him the details.

guardiankit: what the heck am i supposed to do help )
"A big decision?" the small tom sat down, resting his tail at
the base of his paws. "Well, I don't think I know what to do
about that.." he rolled his shoulders back, trying to think. He
wanted to help the elder tom, as seeing him in this state made
him a bit sadder than usual. Suddenly, Guardiankit lit up,
quickly calming down before speaking again. "Oh, I have an
idea!" he started, a small smile on his face.
"So, basically, I'm a kit. I've had no 'big decisions' other
than what to choose for dinner. But, a decision I had to make
once was really big to me - helping Clapkit when the fox
attacked him. He was in obvious trouble, and I could've sat
there and watched. But I didn't. I listened to... well, this
might sound cheesy, but my heart. My heart was screaming at me
to help, and I did. I risked my life to help his. And it worked
in both of our favors." he paused, tail lashing.
"What I'm trying to say is maybe you should let your heart talk
for a bit. Listen to your own desires and wills before you make
the decision. It might make it easier on you." Guardiankit
paused again, blush entering his face. He chuckled quietly. "I'm
sorry I couldn't help more. I'm only a kit, barely an
apprentice. I don't know much. I only know what the queens teach
us. And they always say the same thing, to follow your heart. It
kind of sticks for a while."

Petrichor listened, surprised at how wise the kitten sounded.
Honestly, he himself had never heard someone so young speak like
that before. After a minute, he finally responded. "Thank you,
Guardiankit. That helped, with both of my problems. I appreciate
it." He'd said follow his heart? Fine. He'd follow his heart.
His main issue was settled. He wasn't going to touch RainClan,
or the Tribe. Taking a deep breath, he called out,
"Fallingstar?" He wanted to talk to her, get everything sorted
out and less confusing.

Guardiankit beamed as the tom searched for Fallingstar. He
actually helped! That's a nice feeling.
