       Fabric sat in camp, slouching with his ears flat to his head and
       his tail curled around his back legs. It seemed that in the
       blink of an eye, he and Rabbit were growing up. The white tom
       already had a mate, and he forgot all about Fabric. They never
       played anymore like they did when they were kits. Fabric sighed.
       He missed his friend.
