A young ginger tabby rolled over the border, biting on a bit of
grass. She seemed plump, and She had no collar.

Polarpaw traced the border, his long, fluffy tail brushing
dragging against the ground. When the strange scent reached him,
it whipped to the side as he sent his cold brown eyes in the
direction of the she-cat. He couldn't see her for a couple of
minutes, but his strong nose easily caught her scent. He was a
little surprised to find the intruder lounging on her back. "Who
are you?" the apprentice demanded coolly.

She looked up, her amber eyes giving away her playfulness. "I'm
Rosebud! Who are you?"

Polarpaw stared at her for few seconds, wondering how to react.
This she-cat didn't seem to have a care in the world, she wasn't
even cautious. Did she not notice the scent markers? The tom
cleared his throat, narrowing his deep brown eyes. "What are you
doing on FrozenClan territory?" he asked, a bit more calmly than
before, though still ignoring her question.

"This isn't DevilClan? Good. Mum said to stay away from
DevilClan." The kitten rolled onto her back, her tail flicking
back and forth.

"That's right..." Not that DevilClan is all that "bad" at this
point, being chased out of their territory and all. "Where's
your mother then? Shouldn't you be with her and not getting into
trouble?" Polarpaw said, tail flicking.

died. After that, our Twoleg never cared for us anymore."

She just left her kit and ran? Polarpaw was a little confused,
but if she was so young, he should probably offer her some
shelter. But he didn't have the authority to. The white tom
glanced around snowy forest, as if hoping for another
FrozenClanner to come along and help him out. He looked back at
the she-kit with a small sigh. "So...you don't have a home?"
