"Seven...! Eight...! Nine...! Ten! Ready or not, here I come!"
the ghost kit flew up as she giggled, an action her learned to
control as sometimes it was seen as terrifying, and looked down
at the camp, giving it an overview and considering all options.
She finally drifted down into the nursery, checking it out
first. She pouted when she couldn't find him, trotting out and
scenting the air.

He grinned, trying not to make any noise. Desolate looked
around, seeing if she was nearby yet.

following the scent that she had found.

He thought for a second, then rolled in the mud, trying to cover
his scent, and pressed against the dirt wall.

"Wow, Dessy. You're better at hidin' then I thought." she
giggled, floating up and diving under the ledge. Her green eyes
glowed, lighting up the small space. "But... not the best."
Sally chirruped as she walked towards him, a grin on her face.
"Try mud before you hide. It hides your scent on the way in more
than just inside."

"Dang it!" he whined, frowning. He smiled almost immediately
afterwards, mewing, "Fine. You hide. Just don't do that
invisible thingy you do."

She giggled as she drifted away. She knew he couldn't fly, so
she took to the ground paths instead. Sally slipped into the
hole behind the nursery, tucking herself into a bush.

"Nine... Ten!" Des opened his eyes and climbed up the ledge,
looking around. When he didn't see anything, he began sniffing
the air, opening his mouth to get a better feel for any trail
she left. However, as she was basically a ghost, he didn't smell
anything, and frowned. Des then began to search, thinking of any
places he knew to hide. Immediately he thought of the huge cave
with a small opening him and the other kits had found, behind
the nursery. He decided to check and see if he could spot her in
that area.
