It had been a moon since the kitten... 'joined' the Clan. Almost
everyone had gotten used to the spirit who would drift around
occasionally. It was almost normal. But, then again, it wasn't.
She was a ghost after all. Sally drifted upside down through the
camp, bored out of her mind. She wondered if anyone was up for
playing game.

Desolate, apparently the oldest of the pack of kittens since he
had become an apprentice before them, looked over at Sally and
smiled. Maybe she'd want to play with him? "Hi Sally!" he
called, trotting over.

hoping for a 'yes.'

The she-kit's eyes lit up - literally - as she flipped
right-side up and landed on the ground, an excited grin on her
face. "What game?" she asked quickly, her tail lashing. Oh how
she loved those words - even if they caused pain in the past.

"Okay~! I'll count to ten!" the she-cat strengthened her
appearance again, becoming a wavering figure, and clamped her
eyes shut. She began to count. "One...! Two...! Three...!"

He found a ledge by the water and quickly climbed down under it,
crouching out of view.
