Two cats walked side-by-side onto the border. Though one was a
male and one was a female, they had almost the exact same build.
The tom had solid maroon fur and bright silver eyes, while the
female had silver fur and maroon eyes.
The two looked around, their eyes sparkling with curiosity.

Berryflight padded over to the strangers, somewhat puzzled by
the sight of their perfectly opposing yet matching pelts. She
dropped the herb leaves gathered in her mouth to speak clearly,
cautiously flicking her ears. "May I help you?" the medicine cat
meowed, interested to hear the story behind these newcomers.

The tom stepped forward. "My name Jarold." He introduced, then
flicked his tail towards the female cat. "That is my sister,
Alice. We've seen cats wandering around this area, and we were
curious if we could join you." He gave Berryflight a smile.

Petrichor walked over, eyes narrowed. Though he was smaller, he
seemed to be looking down on them. "Depends, really. Why should
you be allowed to join?"

Berryflight opened her mouth to answer, and tell them it wasn't
her job to accept their offer to join, but then a wild Petrichor
appeared. The medicine cat respectfully silenced herself and sat
down while the deputy took over. She didn't really like this
kind of stuff anyway, but it was every Clan cat's duty to
protect the Clan if needed.

wasn't here then, and I chose to do things a bit differently.
Now tell me, why should I allow you to join our Tribe?" he
meowed evenly, eyes narrowing slightly.
