Auroralights had been patrolling on her own, and her fur
automatically spiked up when she heard an unfamiliar voice.
AshClan! was her immediate thought; the snow bengal had been
paranoid ever since Icestar left. She knew there was a truce
between the warring Clans, but could she really trust AshClan to
keep the peace?
Settle down, homeslice, she told herself, and forced her fur to
lie flat again, walking confidently toward the source of the
noise. Hmm. This cat didn't smell like AshClan. She wondered
what he wanted. "Yes, anyone is out here," she answered his
question. "You're on FrozenClan territory, and if you don't have
a good reason to be here, you'd better leave."
