( the song that i used for the title really works as a song for
her, actually )
( it's called 'the mute' by radical face )
( just read the lyrics and think about greekpaw and how well it
relates c: )
Greekpaw moved towards the entrance tot he camp, a vole clamped
in her jaws. She was thinking, wondering what her voice would
sound like if she could speak. Whatever. Placing the piece of
prey on the pile, she looked around for Bluepaw, wanting to
spend some time with him.

Spotting him sitting alone, she quickly walked over. The she-cat
brushed her tail against his to let him know she was there, so
she didn't surprise him. She waited a second before greeting him
with a simple, "Hey, Blue."

Bluepaw flickered out of his daze when he sensed her warm scent
against him, turning his head to look at her. "Hey, Greekpaw,"
he answered, a shy smile on his face. Small flutters tickled him
inside, as it always did when she came around.

A shy smile found a way to show itself, and she didn't know what
to say. After what seemed like a very long time, she finally
asked, "How are you?"

She decided to keep her eyes on her paws, reverting back to her
shyness. "I'm... I'm okay," Greekpaw answered him, shuffling her
paws.

Bluepaw narrowed his blue eyes slightly, catching the slight
hesitation in her voice and actions. Was something wrong?
Normally, she was so sweet and content, barely showing a hint of
sadness. Yes, she was shy, and quiet, of course, but so was he.
What was she hiding?
Then again, maybe she was just a little uncomfortable around
him. I mean, they both had confessed their feelings to one
another, still, neither knew what they were to each other
anymore. They weren't officially "together", yet they weren't
just close friends anymore. He didn't know what to think, or
say. The atmosphere was growing awkward already, he could feel
it, but what was he supposed to do?
"Hey," Bluepaw began calmly, hoping to call her soft gaze back
up to his, "you can tell me anything, Greekpaw. You know
that..right?" the elder apprentice told her, ears perking up
expectantly, though still knowing he wouldn't hear her voice,
but think it. Maybe nothing was wrong, maybe it was just his
socially awkwardness making her uneasy, but he wanted to be
there for her when something did go wrong. Like she was for him.

"Yes, I know," she replied, looking up to meet his eyes. The
small she-cat made herself smile, but she still felt slightly
awkward. They weren't together, but they were definitely more
than friends, and she was just confused.
