Winterpaw walked into camp, a mouse clamped in her jaw. She had
been working on her hunting skills, if it wasn't obvious.

She spotted Lucarkit and smiled gently. He always seemed like an
upbeat kit, despite his motherless status. "Hey, Lucarkit~" she
called the kit, wanting to give him the mouse.

She placed the mouse beside him, still holding on to her smile.
"Here, why don't you have this?" she asked, finding that words
slid from her maw much faster than normal, and more connected to
one another than when she would be talking to others.
