The obsidian-colored cat walked towards the pile to get
something to eat. Eventually, she chose a mouse and walked over
to her friend, sitting close by and placing the piece of prey on
the ground. "Hey, Pheo!" she greeted her friend before taking a
small bite of the mouse.

smiling genuinely. She hadn't spoken to her at all recently.

Stygianflare couldn't help but smile back when she saw that her
friend's own was genuine. "I've been okay. It's been kind of
hard to take care of my kittens and be the head medic, but I've
been managing," she responded, before she continued, "Besides, I
have the help of the other medics." After a few seconds, she
prompted her, "And you?"

"Thats great!" Pheo purred, finishing her mouse. "And I've been
great. It definitely feels better to not worry about remembering
herbs all the time! ... no offence, Styg." She giggled nervously
and stretched out her back. "Hey, maybe when you're done, we
could possibly go out and walk around the territory? The morning
frost might still be out there!"

"None taken," she confirmed. Then, when she continued, she
purred, "Sure!" Styg soon finished off the mouse, getting to her
paws and stretching before continuing, "I love seeing the
frost."
