Berryflight stepped out of the aroma-filled medicine den, it's
sweet and bitter scents clinging to her pelt as she left the
room. Her gentle yet curious blue orbs glanced around the camp,
only to discover it was still pretty quiet and calm. At the
moment, anyway. The small blue lynx point took a seat at the den
entrance and momentarily swiped at her chest with her tongue,
waiting for something to happen.

Petrichor finally returned to the Tribe, about a week later from
the day he had left. The small cat decided to be social and
trotted over, putting a smile on his maw. "Good morning,
Berryflight," he greeted, amber eyes meeting hers.

Pandora was curiously waddling around the camp, happy that for
once she could wander by herself.

Berryflight looked up at the deputy and wore a small smile to
greet him with. "Morning," she breathed, her tail slowly
wrapping itself around her paws. She always put her guard up
around Petrichor, not that she didn't with everyone else, but
she had been suspicious of him ever since he was promoted. I
mean, he was in three different Clans, give or take. She didn't
understand why her leader didn't even find that a little weird.
Yet, she didn't dislike him. His calm demeanor was rather
comforting and pleasant to be around.

"How have things been going?" he inquired, noticing how she
wrapped her tail around her paws when he came close. Petrichor
waited for the reply to his question.

"Oh, good, yes. Maybe a little too quiet for my taste," she
replied with a faint smile, shuffling her paws slightly.

He nodded in agreement. "It'd be nice if something happened,"
Pet meowed, tail wrapping around his paws.

Pet glanced at the leader and mewed, "Hey, Sundrop." He still
kept that nickname from when he'd first showed up on the
territory.
